It’s rare that there is good news and I’m happy today to see that the police finally caught this wretched monster.

It is chilling to see that he is another BTK type guy who was a married father and functioning professional. I feel sorry right now for every person in this guy’s life who is dealing today with the realization that they have been friends, family, colleague, acquaintance to a psychopathic murderer of the worst order. May they find some healing going forward.

The film "Lost Girls" by Liz Garbus on Netflix tackled this case, following the mother of one of the victims. Tragic story for the family.

This film came out right when the pandemic lockdowns started in March 2020, so it was seen by lots of people.

The book by Bob Kolker it’s based on is amazing. Really unique perspective on a true crime story.

not really. that is a broad description. the FBI also added that he was most likely middle-aged and white. 99.9% of serial killers are male and the others are fairly normal for LI. Do you really think a woman would be doing this? Do you really think a black guy would be able to drive around LI dumping bodies unnoticed and ignored by the police?

I might have guessed more of an incel type, actually. And the dumping ground was not well-traveled, anyone of any race could have been there off-hours without being seen. Of course it was likely to be a man.

The house looks in terrible condition considering his profession. My guess is that there’s evidence buried in the yard. Which would ultimately hinder him from moving elsewhere.
