New boyfriend loves this comedy routine- red flag? Or am I overthinking?

I think the Morher Lover song with Andy Sanberg and Justin Timberlake is funny. I have zero desire to sleep with my friends mother.

The mentality isn't a joke. It's behind so much violence we see.

How many of you who support this trash think what Creep K Lewis did wasn't so bad?

OP: I'm not sure if that was him. One of his quotes from the routine was, "Women want to do all their sexing between the ages of 30 and 50. But... the value of vagina is only good from 18 to 29."

He also has a whole bit on how women are sexable but not likeable.

Disgusting. What a misogynistic creep.

agree.

but on the other hand, it seems to be ok for women to level nasty barbs at older guys with ED comments, sagging balls, etc. in the midst of a thread/discussion where some poor fool wandered into. those quips garner lots of support and piling on from fellow women too.

And no I wouldn’t dump someone over a comedy sketch that they didn’t even make. What the eff? Are you 12?

Some of you will be single forever.

You say this like it is a bad thing!

You guys are fine when Amy Schumer makes a zillion sexist vagina jokes but somehow Patrice O’Neal is where the line is drawn.

Never change DCUM.

What’s good for the goose is not what’s good for the gander.

Seems like it's worth another conversation but I'd keep it light and not use analogies to explain if he doesn't get it. It's early enough in the relationship to question these types of views. Asking him something simple like, "Say more about what you related to?" could lead to a good discussion and remember, you laughed too. Judge him based on how he treats you and listen closely to how he handles challenges, what he says about his previous relationships, and how he handled them.

Patrice was hilarious. You are the one throwing off red flags with your lack of sense of humor. I'd tell the guy to run.

+1 The guy needs to get away from this overthinking drama queen.

Better single than dead I guess. I will get over it.

Are you going to tell me about the war on men next?

Girls who don’t like Patrice’s jokes are just feeling the heat because he’s hitting too close to home. They’re very likely unattractive and talk too much. 60/40 they’ve got excessive body hair. Go ahead and dump him. Spare him the misery.

Unbalanced wacko, you are.

I'd rather date a guy who is surprise/shock laughing- not nodding head/agreeing laughing.

Patrice O'Neal - who I had to google - was a gross fat slob that died of a stroke at 41 because he was a gross fat slob. Thankfully, no children.

Aren't you all amused at how funny that is?

It would be a huge Red Flag for me. My husband LOVED Howard Stern humor and I should have taken that more of a sign than I did. Because now he is deeply, deeply sunk into the related places: Joe Rogan acolytes, Opie and Anthony fans, etc.

Your sense of humor can be an important manifestation of your core values. I like comedians who punch up and he likes comedians who punch down. It’s a fundamental, gaping maw of a flaw
