Men do you care if your wives are average looking after babies and many years of marriage?

It’s sad that you are fretting over 10 pounds. Is this all your life has come down to?

My wife got real dumpy during quarantine and I’ve never been hornier 🤷‍♀️

Yeah true she should do something cool and productive, like go on the mommy forum to condescendingly scold someone for not using the mommy forum to your liking

Are you kidding? You don’t think OP’s 10 pounds may be distributed differently after having 3 kids?

I’m 5’4” and 120 pounds. 5 pounds is one dress size for me. 10 pounds is 2. All my weight goes to my waist and face.

You are 4 inches shorter than the OP!

I’m just saying 10 pounds could be a dress size for OP. That is all.

I think the vast majority of husbands don't care about 5-15lbs.

Just don't be like my mom- refusing to get in a bathing suit on vacations with us kids, hiding behind us in photos, refusing to get family photos taken because she's fat, won't do any activities with us because she's too fat (like biking, hiking, stairs on vacation, etc), on and on. Oh and those are her words about how she's too fat, not ours or my dad's. Being fat pretty much stunted her life. She also couldn't ever find clothes to wear, but I'm sure it's easier now since plus size is everywhere now.

All women lose their looks after 40. You're not fooling anyone if you think you look 25. You look 40. Just keep the weight off, use a good moisturizer, and keep up on your hair. Men doesn't want fat women, that's the bottom line.

Considering most women in this country are overweight -is your theory that all of the men are partnered with 20% of the women?

Oh, the horror, a fat woman.

I feel you OP. I just turned 38 and its like my metabolism just fell off. Ive gained 7-10 lbs. At first I panicked and tried to starve myself, but I'm coming to terms with it and just decide to buy some new pants. Now at a steady 135 at 5' 6'. Plus, I think its putting off botox a little longer, I do think there is some benefit to not looking too stringy/gaunt as you age. ooooosah

You weight is fine. But living in sweatpants/leggings all day everyday probably makes you feel frumpy, which is what you are describing. Be heathy, whatever that means for you, and focus on looking more “put together.”

Is this really true for most men? I have gained about 30 lbs since we were married 15 years ago. We have four kids, but the youngest is in second grade, so it’s hard to call it baby weight.
I have always been pretty enthusiastic about sex, and sex with my husband specifically. Lately though, I have been feeling like he would prefer that I put that energy into losing the weight rather than our love life.

What about all these fat men? There are so many fat men. I don't mind a hot guy caring about his wife but why do the fat men think their wives should be thin?

What if the guy is neither fat nor hot?

This is absolutely true for most men. Of course, there is a line somewhere between gaining a bit of weight and becoming so obese it's unattractive. I don't think 30 pounds is that big of a deal, and he wants to see you naked.
