If this is true. Good to know and thank you for the update. A real lockdown had to be somewhat scary? I’m sure that they kids haven’t processed it yet with the excitement and adrenaline. |

Not good. Seems likely that gun went off during altercation, either accidentally or intentionally. Pelvic region doesn’t seem like an aim and shoot type thing so I’m guessing they fighting closely. |
Yeah, there are no crazy Dem's with guns in our county!!!

| Is Sequoyah Elementary school, just around the corner, affected by the lockdown? |
| Scanner also said no weapon found in bathroom and no look out. Original call thought it was a stab wound. The curse of Magruder continues. |
What is the “curse of Magruder”?? |
|
“Health related incident”? Who approved that message from MCPS? The communication issues persist. Just terrible leadership. Absolutely have learned nothing from the last month and think they can lie their way through a school shooting while we are all looking at video of a SWAT team entering the building.

Actually that might be really helpful. Some of these kids never had any real love, especially if they have been raised in gang banging family members or drugs fueled families. Shame on both of you posters for your lack of empathy. |
Whatever. Priority goes to the safety of the students that DONT bring weapons into school. They need to actually start punishing kids again. Sorry if that screws up their life plans. We have to protect the kids that aren't breaking the rules. |

The curse of Magruder relates to students who died either while attending high school or shortly after graduating. A few died in car accidents but the most famous one was the death of two students, including my daughter's good friend Hailey Maguire. In fact my daughter was suppose to be at that party but didn't go last minute.

There's talk that that's exactly what happened at Wheaton recently when a student had a gun. The student, and the gun, were taken into custody without incident. Nobody was hurt, and hopefully the student can get the help they need. |
Really, does MCPS have a first year journalism student running the public information office? |
