I am 5 ft 7in, 134 lb, how to lose 9 or 10 pounds?

you shouldn't. That is a great weight.

OP, I try to keep my weight on the lower side of healthy. Sometimes I need to diet if my weight has crept up. My tips:

Work out daily and lift weights every other day. Not 3 or 5 lbs weights but 15, 20 or more lbs free weights.

Let your calorie intake move around. 1000 calories one day, 1500 the next and so on. For whatever reason, I lose weight faster this way than with a constant intake of 1200 or whatever.

When you're hungry, you are losing weight. So bear with it.

OP, you have an ugly heart for this post. I’ll leave it at that.

Why?

Is there an exercise or sport you really enjoy? I am your height and your goal weight and I love riding my bike - I don't think of it as a weight loss effort, but it certainly shreds the pounds off. I love being outdoors so that helps motivate me.

My mom is also that height/weight and she just eats like a bird, but I don't recommend that...

What the? Why? I do think OP is better off at her current weight vs losing 10 lbs, but it has nothing to do with an ugly heart. What a bizarre thing to say

Same height 115 lbs. I also have a small frame (can wrap thumb and index finger around wrist and still have space leftover. But I’m muscular and not bony at all. I exercise 1-2 hours a day and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables but don’t count calories or restrict any food groups. I tend to eat smaller portions.

You can wrap your thumb and index finger around your wrist because you are skinny, not small framed. If you weighed 150 you would be large framed. Small framed and large framed are b.s.

Not sure I agree with the last point here. I have always been able to wrap thumb and index finger around my wrist with room to spare and weigh 150lbs at 5ft 4in (post partum). I could even do it at my heaviest (161). Think small framed - small ankles too. But maybe everyone can do that!

Huh? Wha? Why? You done now? It’s not bizarre. She’s acting like a deliberately oblivious tool to post those stats and that goal. And no, I’m not fat or near it, abs don’t envy someone who’s a mess enough to post this.

If you are 5’ 7” and 135, there is no way you look pudgy. No way!

You definitely can. Weight is such an illusory measure, the fat % is where it's at. You can be super fit and weight 150 lbs. and flabby at 125 lbs.

Look at Sydney Leroux, she's perfection. But according to the BMI, she's 9 lbs. from being overweight.

I’m 5’7” and 134 was my lowest adult, pre-baby weight. I have a medium/large, muscular frame and absolutely loved my body at that weight — it felt like I could do anything I wanted and as a person with several athletic pursuits that means a lot. I could see someone with less muscle and a smaller frame (or even someone with my frame size who is “skinny fat) feeling like they wanted to lose a few pounds.

Same. I am very fine boned and at 135 I look unfit. I’m actually around 120-125. Under 120 I’m too thin but I assure you that at my current weight I look normal-athletic.

I'm 5'7'' and, except when I was pregnant, I've ranged between 125 and 135 my entire adult life.

I agree with focusing on muscle. I lost my baby weight quickly but I looked pudgy until I got my core back. My weight actually got higher but my stomach was flatter when I had my abs vack.

This person is overweight with an extra 9 pounds? You are nuts.

*facepalm* Read slowly my original post. Yes, according to the BMI chart, NOT ME, she's 9 lbs. away from being overweight, HENCE WHY body fat %, especially abdominal fat, is a better measure than BMI alone.
