| I feel sick to my stomach about this whole thing. I wish United would come out on its knees tomorrow morning. |
Ironically, this revelation happened almost 20 years ago. Remember the Passengers Bill of Rights? That was to placate some Congresspeople who'd been stuck waiting on tarmacs for hours at a time. Then 9/11 happened and we decided that being treated like shit by airlines was the patriotic thing to do. |
Stop lying. It's the lobbyists, Einstein. |

Eleanor Holmes Norton is on this:
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/eleanor-holmes-norton-demands-congressional-hearing-over-united-airlines-fiasco/article/2619924 In all of our extensive travel only 1 of us saw a deplane request after or during boarding. And it was also United! |
I am talking about the idiot on this thread, not the CEO. |

We need to identify all politicians who have been active (speaking out and/or voting) on either side of this fight between airline corporations and consumers. Fyi, most politicians are bought up by Capitol Hill airline lobbyists. |
Between her and Elizabeth Warren, I hope United is left squirming. I'm honestly so disgusted at this point. Ugh. |
Who else is fighting to protect consumers? |
United made $2.3 billion in profits last year: http://newsroom.united.com/2017-01-17-United-Airlines-Reports-Full-Year-and-Fourth-Quarter-2016-Performance |
| Continental is worse. |

Let's give this thread about a month. United will release their April numbers then, showing number of passengers and revenues.
My guess is there's a lot of talk about boycotting United, but not much action. Especially in this area since they are the dominant carrier from Dulles. |
I didn't realize they still existed! |
Kaine. |
They merged with United. So now they are one. |
Any links to how he voted to protect airline passengers? |
