2010G BSC Coming For FVU

It’s also the poaching (BSC has been doing this for years) that is troubling. I guess this is the new world, in college too, but it makes me sad. Rather than taking the girls you have and developing them, coaches are just trying to take from others for super teams. I get people come and go, but 5-8 at once? And look where it got BSC. They keep adding transfers, disrupt their chemistry, and get worse every year.

As I look at colleges, I’d rather my daughter go to the school that will develop her and where she will be with the same girls for years, than the one taking five transfers. Is it a lot to ask the same thing of my ECNL U16 team? Sure, let girls play wherever they want (or, rather, where their parents want them to play), but it’s got to be more transparent for everyone. I’m sure a lot of families on both teams would have made different choices if they knew this was all happening.

Didn’t FVU poach a bunch of McLean players. All in the game. Put your big boy pants on buttercup and stop whining about players that don’t want to be at your horrible club.

The 5 who are leaving for BSC, two girls never signed with FVU they are playing this honestly. Its the 3 who are jumping ship for less playing time remains a head scratcher and dishonest on all parties part.
oooof shame on the parents for putting kids in that predicament

Incorrect. In the legitimate window of tryouts and usual club shopping this is not an issue and is not poaching.

I don’t think you people know what the word poached means.

It's really awful what a mess this has become. They are now all forever tied to this scandal in the larger soccer community and these questions about their integrity, honesty and commitment will unfortunately always be there. Sad!

Is this mid season? I thought the season hasn’t even begun.

It is in season, and very clear in the ECNL rules and dates

lmao those girls left willingly because NVA decided to self destruct and go GA. All of the players left without poaching and left together.

Same for the McLean post, not wanting to play GA isn’t poaching.

Rules say season starts August 1. Based on the first day of this thread sounds like it happened before the season started.
