It’s worth it because they are guaranteed to be the new coach favorites.

Most of those girls don’t need favoritism to get opportunities. It’s a move that does nothing for them, besides getting them very familiar with rush hour beltway and 270 traffic.

It’s not just the favoritism. It’s the promises made (talent ID’s). Oh, and the greatly reduced fees. None of those FVU players are paying full price at BSC.

They then reach out to at least 8 of the starting line up for FVU 2010 less than two weeks from the season starting and ask them to leave FVU and join BSC. That is flat out wrong on so many levels. No one is arguing the invited girls are not talented and deserve opportunities but this was an unprofessional shady move from two coaches bitter they were fired and wanting to punish FVU.

I fail to see the problem??? This happens all of the time. Suck it up!

Really? Minimum of 8 offers to starting players a week before season starts? I don’t think that happens all the time.

Tryouts happened and commitments were made to FVU for 2025-2026 season after coaches were fired and done months ago. The BSC offers did not go out until weeks after the team finished at nationals.

The timing is suspect.

Fairfax Virginia Union made coaching changes. That’s plenty good of a reason to find a new club.

It makes little to no sense for most of those girls to even consider, factoring in beltway traffic and the flipped seasons between MD and VA. It only serves the coaches. Those 2 aren’t worth following, that’s for damn sure.
different talent in the north as well!!!

its always the talent ids that get promised while overlooking other talent. 11s learned how that played out.

FVU 2011’s? The worst team in the age group in the area? CW’s team?

Looks like the word talent is easy to spread around in this area. Have not see one yet.

8 offers?!? If they actually got 8 and then BSC has a full roster of 18, that puts them at 26. That roster size getting the NM treatment.

I am not BSC, not FVU, not even 2010. But these statement are ludicrous. Kids leave all the time, for better opportunities, for better coaches, etc. Clubs show no allegiance to the kids and cut them when a brighter shinier new toy comes along. Why are you upset the kids do the same, given the toxicity that is apparent on the FVU 2010g team, mostly SYC parent related? Yes, it is common knowledge…. Maybe the parents should look in the mirror and realize their actions might have caused these defections if they want them to stop. But I doubt it, from what I know about them, they would not be capable of such self reflection.

We have not seen or heard any 09s moving. One 08 player moved. We’ve been hearing about players other than 10s moving but have yet to see it.
