2010G BSC Coming For FVU

They then reach out to at least 8 of the starting line up for FVU 2010 less than two weeks from the season starting and ask them to leave FVU and join BSC. That is flat out wrong on so many levels. No one is arguing the invited girls are not talented and deserve opportunities but this was an unprofessional shady move from two coaches bitter they were fired and wanting to punish FVU.

I would call it stupidity by the management of Fairfax Virginia Union. Can’t fix stupid. Terrible leadership.

Meanwhile, CW collects his paycheck. Get his friends fired, and then watches his friends, steal the best players from the club that is paying him.

I don't have any connections to this situation at all, but couldn't it just be coaches trying to out together their best squad? Why does it have to be about "wanting to punish"? If anyone sounds bitter, it's you.

Ironic that the head coach for 2010G FVU is CW, and didn’t CW do the same thing you are complaining that ML and NM did? He recruited girls from McLean 2013 top team even though he was coaching at McLean but planning on leaving. Hypocrite much?

It makes little to no sense for most of those girls to even consider, factoring in beltway traffic and the flipped seasons between MD and VA. It only serves the coaches. Those 2 aren’t worth following, that’s for damn sure.

It’s worth it because they are guaranteed to be the new coach favorites.

Most of those girls don’t need favoritism to get opportunities. It’s a move that does nothing for them, besides getting them very familiar with rush hour beltway and 270 traffic.

It gets them a good coaching staff that will be present for games and practices. Also stability at their new club. Neither of those two things are available at Fairfax Virginia Union.

NM and ML are poaching for sure. They are good coaches with little ethics. I don't have a dc in this club, but I know they are making names for themselves in the soccer community and not a good ones. Why were they fired from MYS or GFR? Anyone know?

Coaches move to different clubs and take players with them. This is a common occurrence at most clubs and is something g that FVU is also “guilty” of too. Give me a break…

What is poaching? Haven’t the players that they are recruiting played for them for years?

Really? Minimum of 8 offers to starting players a week before season starts? I don’t think that happens all the time.

Tryouts happened and commitments were made to FVU for 2025-2026 season after coaches were fired and done months ago. The BSC offers did not go out until weeks after the team finished at nationals.

The timing is suspect.
