Kate did not want George to go to Eton.

Well soon that won't matter.

WTF does that mean. There is absolutely no indication that she is dying, just because she prefers to keep her health information private. And no wonder! Geez.

DP. She might not be dying but if she hasn’t figured out that whatever William and his family says it won’t matter because they’ll be divorced.

Divorced or dead by end of 2024. Sadly.

But good that it’s resolved before a succession if/when Charles also passes.

How does wanting privacy equal dead or divorced?

You are still presuming the truth in what the BRF has put out there — that Kate is in a position to want privacy. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I am so suspicious of this whole thing because 1) there’s been multiple lies that have been perpetrated and now proven to be not true (eg, Kate does not have cancer, Kate will be back by Easter, wild photoshopping incident, etc), 2) this is a family that has historically discarded the wife / placed all importance into the heir to the throne, 3) this woman has literally not been seen in public nor on any kind of live broadcast for 5 straight months now — this is completely unprecedented by a member of the senior royal family.

So the question to me isn’t whether she is entitled to privacy, but rather back to the original question — I am still wondering if she’s ok at all.

Totally different from the Black Panther situation, and I don’t think is an apples to apples comparison. I had no curiosity about that whatsoever.

She has been seen in public- the media is not snapping pictures of it because they are trying to respect her privacy. Also she didn’t have cancer when she first went in for surgery- the cancer was an incidental finding. Take off the tin foil hat and try to find something productive to obsess over - like Taylor and Travis…

We don't know that either. We don't know a thing about the surgery she had in the first place

You aren’t entitled to know any of it.

DP. This retort is so tiresome. Very few posters on here, if any, are claiming they are entitled to know about her medical condition. What people are saying is that the whole situation is just odd. The way KP has chosen to handle this from the outset is odd and stands in stark contrast to how BP has handled Charles' diagnosis. And because of how all of this has been handled, it's raising a lot of questions and causing speculation. It's not the type of thing people are used to seeing from such a well-known and public facing family with a history of scandals. It's not at all a stretch to be wondering what's really going on.

If any of that bothers you, it might be better for you to stop reading the thread instead of trying to police the posters on here.

PP very clearly feels entitled to private medical info.

She looked extremely unwell in her video in March. The language being used in the DM article is very formal, but those who are aware can see through it. While I don't have strong opinions about the royal family, this is undoubtedly heartbreaking for Will. Losing his mother at a young age, and the possibility of his children going through a similar experience of seeing their mother seriously ill is a traumatic thought in itself.

Yes. Can you imagine how much differently things might have gone for Diana if she had been able to retreat from the palace and stay with her family while she recovered from her eating disorder?

All of the appearances of Kate from 2024 have the markings of either body double or AI.

The farm stand pap appearance where her face seemingly became slender again after the TMZ car appearance with her mother where the car has five tires. The Prince William double somehow grew more hair back and became 20 years younger as did Kate. Those were obviously young stunt doubles on a paid gig

Then, there’s the BBC video with a jacketless Kate in the cold with a bird chirp soundtrack and greenery in the midst of a wintry March. BBC admits editing was done and is adamant William was not present during the filming of the statement. He wasn’t there to provide Kate moral support while she had to address the world with such devastatingly emotional news.

I agree with all of this 100%. Every single piece of messaging about this situation has been shady. Honestly, it's mind boggling. They have billions at their disposal; why can they not put out one honest, trustworthy piece of communication about what is going on? They are getting doubters because they are putting out dubious information.

But do we have the 'right' to know?
This is such a ridiculous question. I shouldn’t be lied to, and I’m allowed as much speculation as I’d like if I am being lied to.

I get where you’re coming from. No one likes feeling like they are being duped or deceived. At the same time, it’s weird that you (apparently?) think you’re entitled to any information on her health. If she’s lying, she’s lying. It’s her prerogative.

It reminds of the Black Panther actor who kept his cancer diagnosis private. Can you imagine? “How DARE you keep this info from me! You’re a celebrity! You walk a red carpet and do interviews in magazines, you MUST disclose what type of cancer you have, your treatment protocol, whether you’ve lost your hair, how much weight you’ve lost!!!” That’s insane. They’re entitled to privacy and yes, they are even allowed to lie to you.

+1

Black Panther in my mind is a little different. Disney put a fortune in this man to lead a Marvel franchise for Black Panther. Spent a fortune finding the right actor, promoting him, etc. Now they really have nothing to continue this franchise which was also started for the black community to have their super hero.

Maybe he just wanted to earn some money to leave to his family? Even if he did not have kids, money earned can secure his parents and siblings for the lifetime.

Guess it's all his fault for getting cancer and making Disney lose all that money.

He had the cancer before Black Panther. He knew the significance of the role. He should not have taken it. You can see the scar on his abdomen in some scenes from operation(s). He wanted to create his own legacy.

Maybe he just wanted to earn some money to leave to his family? Even if he did not have kids, money earned can secure his parents and siblings for the lifetime. Just how nasty are you? I am thinking to report you to Jeff. You sound like the worst narc here.

He knew the HIGH significance of this role and probably already had enough money to secure his family financially. And if Disney had known he was stage 4 colon cancer they probably would have chosen some one else for the role. Thank you for agreeing with me he was selfish in taking the role.

DP. It’s not selfish because it’s like the easiest role to recast. Did you even watch the film? The Black Panther is basically a royal title. Anyone can eat those magic flowers and voila.

I am sure they had plans to have multiple movies made with him as the lead. And when they replace the hero, they start from zero telling the story. How many Spiderman movies have we had told from day 1 with a new hero? In this case they wrote his death into the film.

Not true that they start from zero. Michael Gambon pretended he was the original Dumbledore, helped by that huge beard and costumes. Other storylines took over from Ned Stark's story line. Meryl Streep bowed out of a starring role in Mamma Mia 2 (returning for a small ghost bit). Dr Who regenerates every few seasons - they've just started with the 15th doctor. Sesame Street explained that Mr Hooper died. Other series kill off characters when it suits or when actors get too demanding or when the actor dies in real life.

Oooh. Some good stuff on the Kate is missing Reddit forum.

“Divorce is coming. This is obvious.
What KP did not anticipate is just how smart Kate is. And if you don't think she doesn't have the goods on William, in her lawyers safe deposit box, you are wrong.
Kate isn't going away so easily.
And she has all the power in this
EXCEPT that the RF will threaten to take her kids. And they probably can. Kate didn't spend her entire life to get where she is, to not be Queen.”
