Highest level of these coaches looks like High School and some club experience

Yea I guess if you dont count -
Santino Quaranta with an A-license, 11+ years in the MLS, a national team player, boys and girls academy team coach
Lee Tschantret with an A-license, USA national team coach, boys academy coach, and US futsal national team member.
Zack Flores also with an A-license who played professionally in Bolivia.
Danny Skelton, B-license who played division 1 college soccer and has coached at the boys and girls academy level
Doug Pryor, A-licensed coach. Has placed 200 girls in to college over the past 15 years.
Tommy Quaranta National semi-finalist coach with over 20 years of experience
Phil Greatwich FA licensed whose team won a national championship
Geaton Caltabiano licensed coach who qualified for a national championship
Brandon Quaranta c-licensed who has coached 4 national championship winning teams and also places a bunch of players in college

- - any higher than “high school or some club soccer experience” then I mean yea, I guess youre right. It’s just a bonus for the players that so many pipeline coaches are connected to high schools in the area.

If you read it...Just talking girls side

What does it mean to be a Academy coach for a couple years

Sorry for every A licensed coach you think is good...there is 3 coaches that suck with the same license

I have seen high school players with no club experience go to play at colleges

I am not saying they are bad coaches...I expected better on the girls side...this is the all mighty Pipeline...I thought they would have multiple College Coaches on staff

Is this person delusional?

How many college coaches coach club. Outside of McLean, I don’t know if too many college coaches who also coach club.

Yes, it's not common at all. There's no time for that.

Celtic has both UMBC Women's Assistants on their staff...have McDaniel College Women's assistant on their staff...Anthony(Mens Associate Head Coach) on Women's Staff...AACC Head Women's Coach on Staff...and their Girls DOC was a college coach

yes it's probably Anthony. He's been coaching at UMBC for around 20 years (or more?) so probably likes to help out with his daughter's team and youth. He was really involved with the Bays when they still existed.

Honestly, I am not sure why this necessarily matters. I may not want collegiate coaches at the youth level any more than I want college professors teaching middle school. People who need to rely on these kinds of credentials probably do not know much good soccer when they see it. Hence they fall back on things associated with success in professional worlds - where else the coaches have been and what coaching license they have. Pretty silly for reason that Pipeline dad already pointed out.

Does the Celtic / Union partnership affect anything Pipeline was trying to do in joining ECNL

If your kid is a Junior or Senior it is an extended look from a college program.

No. All three are separate clubs except that BU and BC are partnering to play their top kids in the GA or ECNL (Boys).

I am confident clubs without a single college coach on staff do great if the talent is there. I would distrust any collegiate program that recruited based on that kind of thinking.
