Shudder. No one wants to see that. I don't want to see anyone in a thong in public.

I think there are a lot of folks who would like to see certain fit men in thongs

They should. But not at children's pools.

It was a community pool, so not an issue.

That's a children's pool. Keep adult activities in your private pools.

Is it a public pool? Adults are part of the public.

So? In your estimation, anywhere adults are allowed should be used for adults to perform sexual acts?

Sorry, lady, that’s not right.

I don't see anyone performing public sex acts at pools. In fact, public sex acts are illegal.

Right, there are laws against public sex and pools have dress codes.

People in this thread want to reverse that. Why? I don't know.

I tihnk you are confusing wearing a swimsuit with sex acts. You might want to examine your life.

I'm all for swimsuits, but I draw lines at people wearing things that are designed purely to draw sexual attention who perform theatrics at a pool filled with children, trying to get the attention of potential love interests, or filming instagram or OnlyFans videos.

Oh no, people flirting at pools! There ought to be a law!

There's flirting and then there's showing your erection and twerking in a thong.

Have you seen these activities or do you just suspect that they are happening?

Basically, yes.

Teens in thongs filming Instagram thirst trap content. It’s why we have dress codes and rules of conduct.

For some reason a lot of people believe that asking people to be courteous and wear something comfortable but not erotic so that children don’t have to be forced to watch some 19yo undress and try to achieve Instagram fame is a real burden.

So no men with erections?

There should be an age and weight limit for women in thongs.

It wasn't a problem at all and no one would have thought to complain about a thong. I never heard anyone accuse the European tourists of "displaying an erection" because they wore a speedo. Must not be any Germans at your pools since they seem to believe in swimming nude and find Miami to be conservative.

This is America. Not Miami. And not Europe.

We don’t like bare breasts and ball sacks on display at the community pool. We also don’t like public fornication or democratic socialism. We don’t like men going to the office without an undershirt so they’ve got visible nipples and chest hair.

We do enjoy a wholesome game of Marco Polo, fireworks in the summertime, deodorant, ice cubes, and winning wars.

Conduct yourself accordingly or I’m calling the cops (which we also enjoy).

Today, Miami has been declared a foreign country.

I know, right? LOL

She looked good but I have two boys, one a teenager. If I'm supposed to be keeping him safe from explicit images on the internet why is he seeing near-nudity at the pool?

This does not help your case, op. Why don’t you teach your teen son that staring is rude, and when talking to a girl, keep his eyes on her face.

Why would a girl be out in public displaying her entire @$$ if she wants boys to look at her face?

Some of you REALLY want to have it both ways.

I think it’s wrong to display an erection at a children’s pool but the anti dress code crowd seems to feel it’s VERY important they be allowed to display one to families in public.

Kinda makes you question their motivations…

First, you will need to find a children's pool. No, a pool with children in it doesn't make it children's pool. By that logic, every restaurant is a Chucky Cheese.

I haven't seen any inappropriately dressed people in Chucky Cheese so it seems like the general public knows how to dress and behave without the moral majority running around with their 35% rules.

I actually have a children’s pool in my area (deep end is 4ft). Never seen anyone there but little kids and their parents. All of them wearing high-to-average-coverage bathing suits. For those of you mortally offended by skimpy swimwear, consider not going to pools frequented by teens and young adults to spare your sensibilities.

If you have to ask, you've obviously never been to one of the local area pools.
