Someone earlier mentioned that Black Ops will become a permanent team to compete in age based tournaments not just WSYL. I am assuming that means more fees. Can anyone confirm this?
USA lacrosse has an age based national championship in DE in July https://www.uslacrosse.org/events/nationals |
Kid was an absolute beast. Looked like a leftie but say him play both attack positions. Would be shocked if he hadn’t made it. |
Black Ops will transition at some point back to grade based and compete in National Tournaments. There are no competitive age based tournaments in High School. |
| Agree 100 percent. If they play up to their potential, it could be a formidable team. |
| I don’t think Black Ops has legs other than to play WSYL. You are not going to create a new permanent club team at the expense of the clubs feeding it. Club teams already have packed schedules and sign up for the best tournaments, not sure how black ops would fit in the long term. |
Agreed, especially since the VLC players on U14/2025 are no where near the elite level. They’ll be destroyed if they try to play in the elite division at HoCo this spring. |
Ok |
The clubs will do it if they think they can make money off of it and grow their programs. |
Correct. If you haven't noticed, The National Team thing is starting to grow. Another opportunity for Clubs to make money and more opportunity for elite players to get noticed. It's inevitable. Madlax has been doing it for years and making it work. |
You don't know who is Dad is. If you did, you would know there is no chance that kid is getting an email. |
| 👌🤣 |
100%. No way CM is messing with this Dad! |
| Has any one who's made the team heard anything about what they're planning? |
I believe they are planning to win the championship. |
