Seriously, why have they not said anything more to even those who have heard back initially? So strange if the boy are playing next month not to know anything. Did Black Ops fold because MadLax got all the talent to their Monument team?

You are just trolling. If your son was on the team and you were wondering about practice why not email the coaching staff? Why post on a public forum?

Madlax better be offering free registration because I was at both tryouts for black ops and monuments and those monument teams aren't great. The 14u monuments will be a little more competitive and they had a few more helmets from other teams but the 13u's aren't very good at all.

Black Ops has been very unorganized and late with info from the very beginning. The fact information isn’t out doesn’t surprise me.

Relax people- they gave you the basic schedule with the tournaments and they are looking to do a handful of practices.

Let's see what Black Ops has... ML has 2-3 Non ML players on the 14U and 0 Non ML players on the 13U. Doesn't look like Black Ops got any ML players and ML maybe got one VLC player on 14U. Just think if they had just played nice and the super team could have been great!

Unfortunately Black Ops limited themselves by trying to take even numbers across all three teams. They should have had kids wear generic pinnies and then pick the best players regardless of club.

Generic pinnies doesn't do it because the helmets give it away. Would have been nice if they stuck to their original plan of having outside coaches who held no bias to a particular program.

From what I saw and understood there was no favoritism shown for any club. They are trying to win so were focused on putting together the best team. Best team doesn’t mean the highest skill in all cases looking for other factors as well (ie attitude, motivation, maturity ect)

You really think that they only chose an equal number from the three clubs for both the U13 and U14 teams? I could have sworn I saw other club helmets out there that were pretty good, but what do I know?

At the U13 and U14 levels there were at least 4-5 other teams represented at one of the two tryouts. Top Caliber, ML, Crabs Baltimore, a silver helmet I didn't recognize and I thought Looneys.
