They were too busy hiding all the knives.

It might be because there are tens of thousands of white Hyundai Elantras coast to coast. That could be part of it.

PP here. If I knew my friend or son or brother was enrolled in school and lived approximately 10 miles away from the murder scene and also drove a white Hyundai Elantra, it would give me a reason to wonder. I might even think someone had borrowed or stolen it. You wouldn't?

"The University of Idaho has 90 white Hyundai Elantras registered to park at the school, vehicles similar to the one police are seeking in connection with the quadruple homicide just steps off campus, records show."

PP here. So? As a parent or friend, I would report it. And maybe they did. I realize it took time to track down all the tips.

So curious about the motive.

Did they all happen to be at the same party and he hit on one of the girlfriends (or another type of argument) and just retaliated in a heinous murderous reaction?

No.

The two sets of roommates were at different events.

Ugh but not one driven from the area where this horrendous murder took place, that would give me pause especially if my kid was as weird as this kid is being reported as presenting himself. Thank God he didn't harm anyone else (that we know of) while his family buried their heads in the sand. I mean didn't they wondered why he had and apartment and a job and was a student but wasn't going back to school? Come on man.

What now? His was one of several thousand white Hyundai Elantras in Idaho and Washington, most/all of them moving around from place to place all of the time.

But not one that mysteriously dissapeared across the country with a grad student who did not return for the rest of Winter break. Kinda stands out, don't you think?

Huh?

The only posting on there is very strange; it seems to be a repost of a company’s video.

The accounts he most recently followed seem to be mostly IG profiles about firearms, knives, and some rightwing meme pages. Definitely getting angry white male incel vibes.

Many on Reddit are guessing that he probably posted on Reddits related to the murders using alt handles.

All of these are fake.

It’s 99% likely it’s his account. The account follows all his family members, their accounts are appropriately aged. The account linked above has been in existence since at least early October 2022 (the date of the only public post on the account).

It’s not a fake. And IG shows the accounts he follows in the most recent order.

how did he know the people

He went on a stabbing rampage. The house was presumably dark since it was like 2am and everyone was asleep.

What about the other two roommates that weren't killed? Did he just not realize there were more bedrooms in the basement?

We get it. You wouldn't have reported your child's car.

Not literally disappeared. He drove the car across the country right after the killings and never went back. That obviously looks suspicious.

That’s not known or not released to the public. They had their doors locked. Maybe he got tired after the first 4 people. Maybe he was afraid of getting caught if he stayed longer.

He finished out his classes for the semester and went home for winter break, like tens of thousands of other kids from the school.

How could he possibly have thought he’d get away with this? Especially with criminal justice background? Psychotic break?
