What's going on with FCV GA?

No one is going to VDA other than the best couple players in each age group.

They would have to start fresh given the bridges they burned with the current staff that is now leaving. Many unfulfilled promises, to include new field space in Loudoun. And this new current proposal to provide that is a “fool me once” proposition.

BP and CC had 5 year contracts with StJames. It's been 5 years. Contract not renewed.

It’s funny how many posters here purport to be in the know but post no actual info. BP and CC leaving is not the news—key people leave orgs all the time. The news is who is going to replace them (and anyone else who may leave with them). I’ll reserve judgment on whether the shakeup is awful, awesome, or somewhere in between (and the reality is that it can be anywhere along that continuum depending on who is coming in) until we know who is coming in.

CC and BP were not renewed. STJ leadership did not see the club developing and wanted to make a change anyways.

Soccer contracts end at the start of summer, so that's not it. Leaving mid-year means they resigned or were fired. Going with the former, unless the STJ really enjoys upsetting a large swath of its consumers.

These last two posts are not inconsistent with one another. STJ could have told CC and BP now that they would not be renewed for next season and beyond, which then prompted them to move on to their next opportunities. But who cares, all that matters is who is replacing them. Any news on that?
