‘tis what most people say. Unless you have seen their contracts, resignation letters, and separation agreements, or were in the room when it happened, or are them, you don’t know. To some extent the same is true for the employer friendly rumors, although the risk of defamation claims should keep them quiet and/or truthful. So, how do either of you (contract not reviewed and resigned by choice posters) know?

It’s funny how many posters here purport to be in the know but post no actual info. BP and CC leaving is not the news—key people leave orgs all the time. The news is who is going to replace them (and anyone else who may leave with them). I’ll reserve judgment on whether the shakeup is awful, awesome, or somewhere in between (and the reality is that it can be anywhere along that continuum depending on who is coming in) until we know who is coming in.

CC and BP were not renewed. STJ leadership did not see the club developing and wanted to make a change anyways.

Soccer contracts end at the start of summer, so that's not it. Leaving mid-year means they resigned or were fired. Going with the former, unless the STJ really enjoys upsetting a large swath of its consumers.

These last two posts are not inconsistent with one another. STJ could have told CC and BP now that they would not be renewed for next season and beyond, which then prompted them to move on to their next opportunities. But who cares, all that matters is who is replacing them. Any news on that?

What's more funny is folks like you who obviously aren't a past of the FCV family, because if you were, you would already know this information. TSJ sent a detailed email on it.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that FCV does not represent a “large swath” of The Saint James’ consumers. It may represent a large portion of their soccer teams but TSJ is a lot more than just soccer.

Exactly. This is most likely a parent at a local ECNL club who's not very happy about seeing some of our top FCV ballers showing up at their practices and taking some roster spots. Get ready! It's already happening!
