It is pretty standard procedure - sometimes the employee will just forget to set the alarm and the alarm company then has a call list so the store manager, owner, etc. can be notified that the alarm has not been engaged. Also when they went back into the store normally they would have to call the alarm company after disabling the alarm to say they had to come back in and then the alarm company should expect it to be reset. The whole thing was out of the ordinary and nobody took notice. Somebody really fell down on the job. Maybe Lululemon just has an alarm with no security firm backing it up. Seems odd for a national company. |
what is with all the ellipses and exclamation points? It makes me think there is one person (with a distinctive writing style) that keeps posting obsessively to this thread. |
If you are reading it and noticing all of that I would say that it takes one to know one....lol |
Lie detector tests are useless. |
Actually in the case of Susan Smith, she and her husband had several and every time she had one she failed the part when it asked her if she knew where her sons were! The overall test came out inconclusive but it is VERY telling that that particular question she failed each time! So although ultimately they may be useless it certainly helped police in Susan Smith's case! |
How do you know they weren't blindfolded while the rapes were occurring? Just because they weren't found blindfolded doesn't mean anything. |
Don't you think that considering everything this other surviving woman has told police so far that she would have said oh and actually even though they had masks and gloves on we were blindfolded anyway so we saw nothing. NOT! |
Also I don't think that whoever did this was that nice to blindfold them in order to spare them the gory details |
Sending in my donation to the reward fund today- here's how:
Anyone who would like to make a contribution to the reward fund may write a check to Crime Solvers of Montgomery County and mail it to: Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, Md., Inc. PO Box 8625 Gaithersburg, MD 20898-8625 Please mark the donation for the “Bethesda Avenue Reward Fund.” More information on donating is available on the Chamber's website at www.bccchamber.org/rewardfund. |
Also if the reward is less than 1000.00 and they do not give it to someone you do NOT get a refund. If it is over 1000.00 and they do not give it away you can request it back. Otherwise it is donated for crimesolvers which is a good thing regardless. |
yes, it's the same person I called out a few pages back, I'm sure. My guess is that this person googled lululemon murder and came here and is now treating us all to her ellipses, exclamation points !!!! and Nancy Drew fantasies. I wish she'd go back home. |
What does that mean? |
Sounds like YOU need to go back home. What is your point? |
Why do I feel that I'm on a 5th grader's blog? Someone was brutally murdered and seriously injured. |
Totally agree. While I am not against looking at this crime from all possible angles, I do think the tone of this discussion is becoming disrespectful to the victims. Also, the exclamation point person sounds a little too excited about the whole thing. I guess it was inevitable that the discussion would attract people who just love real life murder mysteries and don't care about the victims or about the general safety of the area. |
