Murder at Lululemon in Bethesda

Also when they went back into the store normally they would have to call the alarm company after disabling the alarm to say they had to come back in and then the alarm company should expect it to be reset. The whole thing was out of the ordinary and nobody took notice. Somebody really fell down on the job. Maybe Lululemon just has an alarm with no security firm backing it up. Seems odd for a national company.

kind of makes you wonder if she would have survived if police had arrived due to an alarm being tripped.

it's probably too early to condemn them, but lululemom should have better precautions in place to protect their employees. i am sure a civil suit will be brought against them at some point.

I would like to make a point to which some of you might agree or not. I am a woman and a professional and I have been reading and commenting on this blog. Some things I have said people like and do not like because I have been speculating about the situation. I have not written anything vile or crude; yet, I have had rude comments made about my posts.

That being said, I am not writing mean comments or calling people names for their thoughts. If you want to believe that it was a completely random crime and that I am making things up to make myself feel better, ok, but why do you feel the need to be mean? I am not calling you a naïve fool for thinking that it was totally random (that was an example I am not calling anyone that).

It seems to me that the women/ men (yes I am sure there are men) on here who have the feeling that their morality or self position is higher than others are the ones name calling and being inconsiderate. The comments about being rude or disrespectful to the victims and then negating it by calling some an ***- hole are completely unnecessary. I will be the first person to say that if you write something ridiculous or something I simply do not agree with, I will not call you a name for it. I do not know the survivor or any circumstances about her but I am entitled to question things without an attack being held on this site.

Why do some people feel the need to point out ridiculous nit -picky things about posts- that’s what makes it a 5th graders blog/ forum since there was a nit- picky comment made about that. Just let it go and breath. I really like reading about this on DCUM but now its getting flat out annoying that you cannot have an opinion on here.

ITA. Somehow, basic civility is eroding in our world. It's part of the overall darkness afoot. Can't we push it back a little with our kind thoughts (kind, not foolhardy) and deeds?

It is going to be extremely interesting to find out exactly what happened.

As far as the person on this site that is bashing people for having ideas.....at least we have them!

For you I would say that you really need to get some social skills. Especially if you are a mom or dad and that is the reason you are on this site. If you talk to your children the way you talk to the people on this site you are going to have some seriously messed up children! Apparently you think that no one should think the way they think unless they think like you! Thank God that isn't the case. If you are involved in a Forum that makes you feel so bad that you have to attack people and make them feel bad then maybe you should look for Forums that make you feel good.
