Murder at Lululemon in Bethesda

Why does it have to mean something that people want to know what race the person is. I can only assume that we are gathering information and forming a picture in our minds. And who knows what it means if she is white or black or hispanic etc. Maybe it means she lives in a particular neighborhood where their may be more undesirables. Maybe it means that it is VERY unusual for this sort of thing to happen with a person that comes from the sort of neighborhood that she does! And only if she somehow was involved even whether it was in an extremely convoluted way would it seem to matter.

To further clarify....if it was someone that lived in a neighborhood where there are more undesirables than in say Bethesda.....someone could have been following her knowing she worked in an upscale neighborhood for example. It could be that all along she knew nothing but the people in her neighborhood have been watching her! The murder victim lived in Arlington, Virginia. She did NOT live in the Bethesda area which I would imagine that some people assume! So the other person may live in PG County....SE DC......Gaithersburg.....who knows!
And if it was someone that lived in Bethesda and she somehow was who led these people back to the store as in she was somehow involved......then that would be highly unusual if she was brought up in the area and would somehow get involved in something like this....even though I can't imagine that she would hav had any idea it would turn into what it did if she was. And HOPEfully she was an innocent bystander as was the murder victim that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time!

So if you google it you will find out who he is and then google him and it says he is 6ft and 160 pds. Apparently he went to the hospital but was not allowed in to see the victim but did see her sister.

And clearly race doesn't matter at the end of the day although everyone is curious about everything about this case. It is normal to want to know if she is white, black, hispanic etc.

In the world of speculation having this conversation with a 20 year old, if you tell them she was dating the basketball player that she was dating.....they say oh than she must have been white! Does that mean anthing??!! NO! But we are speculating and anyone that is speculating is curious!

Are you getting this information baout who she "dated" from the Maryland sports site? If so, I have read all of that and I do not know if that is true but it seems that ALOT of stuff on there is complete BS. The one person spewing it has been "bragging" about what he knows which I do not think is accurate. Have you actually read this somewhere other than the MD site? If not, I would not be too sure about telling people to google him and stuff.

But I do agree that people are curious about the race. Whether it is PC or not and makes sense or not alot of people are wondering because there are no details.

It's so scary to think these animals are still out there.

What are the odds that the police don't open everything for the public to see and aren't working on it? Are you assuming that since the police aren't saying what the leads are they have, suspects they are considering, or any other information, it means that it is a cold case? Let the police do their job and stop criticizing every move.

? it's amazing how a totally innocuous comment can be construed as criticism. Only here.

Why didn't alarm company see that the alarm had never been reset and notify management or police?

Is this normal procedure?

Why in the world does this matter?

Because:

If she's White: "How dare we blame her..she is a victim. It's sick to even think of blaming her".

If she's Black/Hispanic: "She probably was in collusion with the perps and they decided to rough her up to make it look like she was a victim."

Sad...but it's how some minds work.

Ok....here is a story for you! My sisters boyfriend worked for a guy in Baltimore that was a Master Carpenter and a Gas Station owner. The story was that he and his wife both drove together to the Gas Station that he owned in Towson, Md. She says he got out of the car and went into the Gas Station building.....the next thing she knew a man with a mask came running out of the store. Her husband had been murdered. Because the guy had a mask they were having a VERY difficult time solving the case because no one saw his face. It was a real tragedy.

Turns out that there was NO masked man after all that she and her brother and one other person murdered him!!!!! Apparently they actually hired a person to kill him! So there you go.....things are very often not as they seem and or not as the story was told in the first place!!!!

I think this takes the prize for most ridiculous post to this thread, which is really saying something.

I am not sure why so many truly cynical & negative people are on this site. What is the problem with writing that a murder that couldn't be solved because of a supposed masked man be out of line? The murder in Bethesda is also about 2 men with masks that were fully covered from head to toe with apparently only pupils of the eyes showing that never have a rip in their clothing or their masks NEVER moved an inch while brutalizing 2 women and killing one! Hello! We are talking similarities here.....for the purpose of people realizing that it isn't always the way the story was told in the first place! gees!

Interesting story, and I agree with you. Remember Susan Smith and the man who supposedly carjacked and kidnapped her kids?
Anonymous
I can barely remember that one? Also think about it with this one in Bethesda....I hate to sound crude......but since they did get raped the fact remains that these men DID whip it out........and I don't know how you couldn't identify color with that!

Were they blindfolded?

If the store was dark and the men were white, light skinned AA, or Hispanic, it could be very hard to tell. Also, remember that the police have not shared all of the info they have with the public. They did say that there were some leads.

NO They were NOT blindfolded. The only one that was tied and gagged was the one that is still alive.

I just read about Susan Smith! The good news about that one is that they didn't believe her early on. And the other good news is that more than likely this other victim with have to take a lie detector test which I wouldn't have thought of before reading this story.
