| Only 16 hours until the Schumer Shutdown. Yes its Schumers fault as he is preventing 7 democrat senators for voting for cloture on the CR |
Polling says most people will be blaming the White House or congressional Republicans for this shutdown. |
So you're not placing any responsibility on Mike "my way or the highway" Johnson who had all his Republicans skip town rather than engage in good-faith negotiation? |
|
Lol at polls.
The Dems are a lost party with no agenda and clearly not in touch with most Americans. By 2026 the cloture in the senate wont be an issue thanks in part to the Schumer shutdown. |
Wait a second here. My understanding is that you need to earn peoples votes- dont you agree with that? I mean, the Republicans cant stop talking about their mandate. You do realize that Democrats represent their constituents who want the things the party is holding out for which is funny as hell since how many of them are actually representing rural voters who are going to be the ones losing healthcare access, both in insurance and facilities. |
Well, the polls still say Republicans will be taking the blame for this. Even the poll from a Republican pollster shows, at best, an even split of blame for both sides (with Republicans actually getting 1% more of the blame.) The latest non-partisan poll, meanwhile, shows 17% more people blaming Republicans compared to Democrats. Make of it what you will. |
Oh really? Which 7 seats do you see the GOP flipping? Even if they win in Virginia, New Hampshire, Michigan and Georgia they still need three more. And if a Democrat wins an open seat like North Carolina or Iowa they'll need more than that. |
Good! Shut it down! |
“Polling” You still read that swill? |
Oh, do you have any contrary evidence to offer? Otherwise all you’ve got are your feelings. |
The fact that you still take polls as fact is hilarious. |
If you have any evidence that supports a different conclusion, feel free to share. |
And most Democrat voters are happy if they don't give in. |
