Yeah I think they just need to let this go. If the Rs make a concession, it will be to delay the cuts another year until after the midterms, and the Ds will just go along with it thinking it buys them more time. Maybe that was the R plan all along, it’s better for them if it doesn’t take affect until after the midterms.
