It’s seems you have forgotten how wrong the polling was in 2024 and 2016. Polling used to be more accurate, now it’s just a coping mechanism. |
Were the polls off by 17 points? That’s how much more people will blame Republicans, according to Morning Consult. Their presidential polling predicted a 2 point Harris victory, which was within the margin of error for the actual result of Trump 49.8%, Harris 48.3%. Doesn’t seem like this is even remotely comparable. Again, if you have actual evidence to the contrary, please share it. But all I’m hearing from you are angry feelings. It’s nice that you want Republicans not to be blamed, but that won’t make it true. |
| Now less than 15 hours until the Schumer shutdown. Will Chuckie keep his seat in 2028 or will we see that idiot AOC as the junior senator? |
What a strange messaging strategy in the part of Republicans. |
The GOP controls the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate. If the government shuts down, it is not on the democrats. Heck, the GOP house members are not even in DC right now to pass anything. |
| Who are these people blathering about polls? Voters won’t care or remember by the time midterms come around. The GOP’s messaging machine is far superior anyway. |
Except everyone knows who controls all three pieces of the government here and it isn't the democrats. |
| Wonder if Trump will shutdown the WW2 memorial like Obama did in 2013? |
Who was in the congressional majority in 2013? |
| Yet again another left-wing Democrat idea to claim they care about some random thing and cave to it. Meaning oh we care about free healthcare for everybody and then they'll just pay for it has nothing to do with the shutdown. It's just politics and trying to look like they are going to do something but they're worthless |
If they’ve got such a great messaging machine, why do the polls show 17% more people blaming them for the shutdown? |
| shut it down!!! |
I hope so. Without the NPS, it'll be overrun very quickly if it remains open. Same for every other national park. |
| Can't wait to watch OMB Director Voight to do his magic. We maybe able to cut the monthly deficit to zero or positive by November |
If he can do that, it would be by magic. Not by firing federal government who do their jobs. |
