Will Trump drop Vance?

There’s a joke in there about finding change in Vance’s couch cushions but I can’t work it out.

Can’t wait until Vance gets Anne Bolyened out of the party. If Trump loses, Vance will get thr blame. And Trump despises anyone who steals his thunder, so Vance better keep himself in check.

Vance is so boring that there is no way he can steal Trump's thunder. Have you seen any of his rallies? Snooze!

There is exactly one article stating that “Vance was a mistake.” One, not a bunch.

The single article is behind a paywall and written by a journalist who wrote a book attacking Trump. The author does not identify his sources.

If there were “a bunch” of articles, if several credible journalists were reporting this information, maybe it would seem more credible? Maybe?

One source->liberal source->Trump hater author->anon source->op lied about “a bunch of articles.”

Cuckoo.

“Cuckoo.”

lol

and again, the first hint of rumors of a problem and Trump pounces — he LOATHES any sign of weakness. The fact anyone is talking about it means that Vance is on EXTREMELY thin ice.

So, let's start speculating... who gets to replace Vance when, this weekend, he realizes he has an illness or his wife does? I say Ben Carson, who, rumor has it, was offered the job and accepted until Trump got cocky and reneged to give it to Vance to make libs cry because he was SO sure he was going to win in a landslide.

The 70 something year old Ben Carson?

I have to be totally honest: Listening to Ben Carson's interview this week on Tucker's podcast, Carson seems like a really decent Christian man. Very articulate and sharp. Vance in contrast is so transparently fake, slimy, cringe — and an atheist.

Ironically, he'd be swapping a Yale alum for a Yale alum!

Unfortunately he tarnished his legacy by linking with Trump.

There's a viral clip on social media with Trump being interviewed with Vance next to him and Vance won't shut up and is talking over Trump. Trump is clearly very annoyed with this worm.

+1 there’s too much negative press around him. As a Democrat, I hope he stays because he’s certainly not helping Trump win. But as an American, I would feel safer with a different VP (Haley?) in case Trump wins.

Same! You took the words right out of my mouth.

If the GOP were smart it would have been Haley as VP from the start.

A balance to Trump.
Would appear more moderate.
May have stolen some undecided votes.
It would have been a bridge back to normalcy so they could rebuild the party away from maga moving forward.

I'm glad they aren't that clever as the current ticket hurts Trump chances of getting in, but as an American the thought of Trump or Vance answering the phone at 3 am is frightening.

Nikki would not have been a bridge to normalcy. She would be expected to carry on with the Project2025 agenda.

That said, Vance is an albatross. I mean...

It won't get better and given trump's age and general health, Vance as VP and prospective president given what we are reading and seeing, is a major turn-off.

And it’s “the ton of crap for you”. For sure he won’t be eating from that cafeteria table junk. Is he trying to be relatable to middle America here?

It is now being reported that Trump wanted the ND Governor, but Junior and Eric threw a fit and they ended up with Vance.

Trump on record has said his boys are idiots with the worst instincts. This is hilarious.

Read up about Carson violating ethics rules when he bought ridiculously expensive furniture for his government office. With our tax dollars. I think they replaced the agency AG rather than him being held accountable.

Doesn’t strike me as a “good Christian man.”

(And consider why you feel the need to attach someone’s religion to saying they are good)
