Another pit bull attack

Well, yes, dear the point is rather that it will tear criminals limb from limb.

Do you say the same for German Shepherds, Dear?

No, because even their layperson owners can control them, Sweetie. Statistically speaking, Honey.

What I would like to know is why when German Shepherds or any other dog attacks you blame the people who own them ( rightly so) But when it is a pit bull you say it's the dog's dna.

This cannot be true. Why not blame the owners for ALL attacks.

Becasue it has been proven, time and again, that they attack even the owners, randomly. When their owners have been proven to be good owners. Like that poor lady who took her monsters out for walks and was literally eaten one day. Note that BOTH the monsters ate her; not just one. It’s not like one snapped and the other tried to defend her. Disgusting.

So two dogs represent all pit bulls. Is that what you are saying?

I’m not going to Google “pit bull attacks owner” for you. If you do, the search returns about 21,200,000 results in 0.48 seconds.

They need to start making dog owners criminally liable for dog attacks (the way they would be if they carried or brandished a loaded gun around and “accidentally” shot someone several times) with mandatory jail time and then see how many people will keep them.

This is a braindead pitnutter playing coy. Yeah, it's just two dogs! Ridiculous. Time and time again one of the hallmarks is that they get excited by violence and are pretty indiscriminate with who it applies to, so ownrs are frequent targets. The owners are usually all "blame the deed, not the breed!" do-gooder types and they still end up as chum.

LIE

I'm not asking for that. I did find an article that might have explained why that woman's dogs attacked her. Apparently, they were being "cared" for by her dad and not very well prior to the attack. For those who interested in taking in new information and not immediately saying "pit bulls bad" "pit bull owners are bad" Here is an article.

https://nypost.com/2017/12/20/trainer-reveals-why-dogs-may-have-mauled-owner-to-death/

for those who are really anti-pit I know you won't be able to read and be unbiased so I would advise you not to read.

The pp was talking about these pit bulls who ate their owner, not just attacking. So yes, I dare say not many pit bulls eat their owners.

Against thousands of people and animals dead and maimed, and untold unreported bites, the reflex to defend the pit bull breeds, all bred for violence, is really something.

My child was standing there minding her own business while I was talking to the neighbor. She did nothing. Dog ran over and knocked her to the ground.

Of course you are blaming a two year old! The nerve of the exsisting.

Whew! The point flew right over your head

I'm not a fan of pit bulls (at all), but one of the world's first face transplant recipients was a woman whose face was eaten (yes, eaten) by her black lab. (then again, labs will eat anything, clearly)

Ok, please explain. Why is it when a golden retriever knocks over a toddler it is called "gregarious" but if a pit bull did so you would say "vicious?" Teaching basic proper dog manners at age 2 when they have been barely alive! Pray tell me what you have taught your babies when they are standing there and the huge dog comes full force and knocks your child over. Why don't you ask these owners why they have taught their dog "basic manners?"

And please stick to the topic at hand. Not bringing up a red herring. Thank you!

Because plenty of supposedly loving household pits who are treated well by their owners and with no bite history maim and kill people. When another breed attacks there is often a different backstory of poor ownership/abuse.

And also I’d be fine blaming all owners for all attacks. Are you willing to do jail time and pay HEAVY damages if your pet bites someone even if there were no warning signs and you were supposedly doing all the right things as an owner?

Or do you know that deep down your dog could eat a toddler so you would never agree to strict liability for your dog’s actions?

Because so many pit owners like to defend their dog by claiming they were provoked by something stupid like oh the child dared to play in their back yard or bounce a ball or walk across the room too quickly or reach down to pet the dog, so clearly the dog was justified in eating the child’s face off! Basically they bend over backward to justify the dog’s behavior. I remember one time I even read about a newborn being eaten because the mom suddenly sneezed and startled the dog.

So the PP was turning that around on you as an example of how ridiculous it is when people defend their dog’s behavior and victim blame.

Thankfully in your child’s case the worst that happened was getting knocked over and not mauled to death.

“Dinoire’s daughter reported that the family is sure that the dog, which was euthanized, mutilated Diniore by accident.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isabelle_Dinoire#:~:text=Some%20reports%20following%20the%20initial,feelings%20in%20her%20own%20memoir.

If she had owned a pit bull, there wouldn’t have been enough left of her to transplant a face onto.
