Damage control.

This is such a weird thing for an official office to even put out to the public. It's like a dumpster fire in there.

Seriously weird. Can you imagine if you saw something like that in your normal life? Like a Facebook friend posting, "for anyone who needs to hear it, I love Timmy just as much as my other children and he's doing really great in soccer and math." Um, what?

That made me laugh - so true!

Biden said he was going to pick a woman.
Clyburn demanded that the Veep be a person of color.

So, tell me which Black woman would have been better. Answer: almost any.

But, name recognition is important in political circles.

Who should he have picked?

Apparently, we have left the days of the best candidate.

Too bad that Condaleezza Rice is a Republican. Clearly would have been a great Veep.

I so wish Condoleezza Rice would run for president.

Remember, she's only VP because Biden's team made a very public pledge to specifically pick a female POC running mate.

She cut the deal with Biden when she dropped out, months before the decision was announced. Don't be so naive.

The fact is, she is doing what Vice Presidents do. It is only the misogyny of our society that is causing conversations like this thread.

There you are! You're so right. We are free to criticize male politicians, but never women! *Especially* not Democratic women. Verboten! Give us all a break. She's an insipid, lightweight politician - regardless of her gender.

This is the closest I could find from the LA Times.
Odd there is no official schedule from the WH.

It's like something a middle school girl would post in defense of her best friend. "For anyone who needs to hear it Katie is awesome, smart and pretty and should be left alone."

Aren't they required to maintain a public schedule?

She got pretty humiliated at the signing ceremony today. She can’t catch a break.

I detest the lazy, intellectually dishonest imbeciles that reflexively accuse people of racism and misogyny if they criticize a POC or woman.

Yea more wars based on lies are what we need.

I so wish Condoleezza Rice would run for president.

I'm listening to Ben Shapiro's podcast right now. He did a deep dive on this and basically theorizes that CNN would only put out this hit piece if it were sanctioned by the WH.
