Damage control.

This is such a weird thing for an official office to even put out to the public. It's like a dumpster fire in there.

Seriously weird. Can you imagine if you saw something like that in your normal life? Like a Facebook friend posting, "for anyone who needs to hear it, I love Timmy just as much as my other children and he's doing really great in soccer and math." Um, what?

Political figures alogue in this country has descended to the level of middle school. Just look at DCUM. It’s no wonder that Psaki talks like this. The new professionalism is mean girl behavior, childish defenses, and snark. And that goes for CNN too. The whole “investigation” is ridiculous petty gossip.

So she complains about not getting tasked with important policy issues whilst making zero progress with what’s actually on her plate? Ineffective imbecile to put it mildly.

Klain the Brain really seems to have lost his touch.

The staff know they are on a sinking ship and serving with her won’t bode well for their resumes. Look. All she needs to do is take on an issue, think intelligently on how to fix the issue in a common sense, centrist way and then get as much camera time with the news agencies on how she is fixing the issue. Good, bad or ugly. Take the tough questions and move forward. She needs to show something. Right now? Nothing. Horrible.

No, she seems like a smart, charming person.

The way the game works is that having the resume entry is golden in itself.

Well, I hope the democrats have learned a very valuable lesson about not picking people based on skin color and what's between their legs.

Remember, she's only VP because Biden's team made a very public pledge to specifically pick a female POC running mate.

She's still likely to be the Dem nominee after Biden's second term.

Based on what? She performed absolutely horribly in the primaries and her approval ratings are in the toilet right now. Getting that low this early as a VP is actually her most impressive feat so far.

Objectively she comes across as inauthentic and smarmy. She’s also not a gifted or natural public speaker which doesn’t help.

She cut the deal with Biden when she dropped out, months before the decision was announced. Don't be so naive.

The fact is, she is doing what Vice Presidents do. It is only the misogyny of our society that is causing conversations like this thread.

No she didn't. She was polling horribly when she dropped out and her campaign was flailing. What leverage did she have to cut a VP deal? Please...

If she is complaining, she doesn't understand the job.

VP does what P needs done.

Charming? Have you met her? I have on multiple occasions. She’s socially awkward and requires heavy staff support. She may or may not be smart, but she’s definitely not a people person. Her strength, as it is with most progressives, is complaining. That’s her wheelhouse and it’s served her well. She doesn’t do happy or hopeful.

Does anyone have a link to the VP's official schedule? I can't find it, it must be deeply suppressed in search engines. It does indeed exist as some news reports make reference to it. I can find Joe's but not Kamala's.
