John is not a halfway decent human. The only decent thing he did was confess to try to protect his son.

And Lori, who went along with the plan?

Same here, agree!

Anyone rewatch the deleted security camera footage? What did it show? Wasn’t it just the boy putting it back?

I read the deleted was some kid spraying graffiti. Mare wasn't trying to cover up something sinister, just didn't want the hassle of tracking the kid down at neighbor's insistence.

Thats what it was. She just deleted footage of that kid (a neighbor behind them?) who I recall was flipping off the camera. But why didn’t mare check the footage for the prowler that morning (in the first episode)? Did they tell her it was not set up yet?

Lori went along with the plan to frame Billy. Would she have told Mare where Billy and John were if she knew about the plans to have Billy commit suicide?

In the first morning clip, the wife tells him he needs to set up the security camera and he says he will do it. So it wasn’t done yet.

I rewatched. He went out to the shed for the gun the morning of prowler. Gun was there but camera not set up yet. That night he heard a noise, went out to shed, gun gone. Months later he notices gun is back.

I am so confused about Siobhan. So she had one call with a professor, after application season, who single-handedly got her into Berkeley on the basis of her documentary? The DCUM college board would NOT be having that!!

It is a shame such a good show has such a boring thread. I mean really ladies, try to stay off the pills at night and keep awake for some of these details. I didn't need to read about the video tape deletion of the graffiti boy so many times.

YAWN.

He’s a former cop. He knows there has been a prowler and things are missing. Why not have the gun in the house with the bullets in another location OR in a gun safe? He specifically went to get the gun the morning of the prowler so it’s not like he wasn’t going to use it. Who would keep it so far away? I know he mentioned attic and grandkids as the reason it was out of the house, but it could have been locked up inside the house.
