Anyone watching Mare of Easttown?

I feel like shows that are releasing once a week aren’t gonna be able to keep up in this era of Netflix releasing entire seasons at one time. I mean... I stopped watching the Spanish princess because i was waiting one week and then forgot about it. Just me?

I enjoyed the first episode and would have liked to watch mor but I don't mind having a show that you have to wait for for a change. It's nice to have something to look forward to!

So good!

Two celebs of note: the daughter in law at the playground suing Mare for custody of her dead son’s child is played by Sosie Bacon, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick’s daughter.

And Mare’s ex husband who lives next door is played by David Denham, aka Roy, Pam’s ex on The Office.

I knew I knew him and it was killing me until I looked it up.

I never would have noticed! Thanks for pointing it out.

Any analysis or predictions?

It’s gotta be the priest, right? Why else would he be introduced? Frank will be suspected. Paternity results will reveal that neither Frank nor the teenage boy is the father. It’s the priest.

DH, who’s from PA, appreciates the Rolling Rock, Yuengling, and accents.

Mare’s dead son was on the autism spectrum, so maybe Mare is, too.

Those Italians are sure portrayed as hotheaded, huh?

I have the same suspicion - the priest. That scene when the other priest/deacon asks the priest who gave the eulogy how well he knew her was oddly intimate/personal for a non-player (so far)

Yeah, I meant Brianna and her comically angry Italian father.

I love Mare's hostility. She's a great female character. Never change, Mare.
