Hey! Chill and be nice to swami! This is their extracurricular and you are taking it way too seriously. |
Deep breaths. DEEP breaths. You are entirely TOO invested in this. It's all in jest and solely for entertainment purposes. Goodness. For someone with nothing to gain from it, you seem to need something more to do to pass the time. Ignore the thread if it's that stressful, annoying, and rude. Are all PTA presidents this Type A and neurotic when it comes to trivial shit? Serious question. -signed non-anxious PK3 poster who was ghosted because hello, either way, we'll end up where we end up, Swami prediction of hope or not. |

IME with a few PTA presidents - and also school auction chairs - they tend to be tightly wound, control freaks who sre certain that they know best.

Thanks Swami! We’re currently admitted at Stokes East End. Hard to decide between that and MV8. We live right in the middle. What do you advise oh great one? |
Thanks, Swami! Really crossing fingers we can get an offer from Takoma before the start of the school year, but we'll just wait and see I guess. Enjoy your reality TV! |
This comment is full of nonsense and at least one grammatical error. If you are at a great school, why the heck are you on this forum and on this thread, typing out silly comments? I have no doubt that you are very far from a nice person. |

LEAVE SWAMI ALONE!!!

NP. There are many people that are happy with their schools that come to this forum. This forum is used for various reasons outside the chaos of lottery season. |
True, but they dont post ridiculous comments like the former PTA president. You see the difference, right? |
Swami - our PK3 lottery #s were so horrible I have no specific school questions to ask, but as a Hill family just trying to learn as much as possible about the local school scene can you elaborate a bit more on what you think will contribute to it being a weird year for Hill schools? Cheers... |
Not Swami, but you should do a post-lottery for AT OK Ave and Lee East End. |
And eagle academy and Sela and MV8. Best of luck!!! |
And Shining Stars |
Swami thinks the prospect of commuting against traffic in the morning vs. heading to Dave Thomas Circle leaves the 8th vs EE decision squarely on the side of east end. |
This is just a tic Swami sees in the crystal ball. Those with little kids are staying on Capitol Hill, and raising their kids there. Have CHML in swing space and bussing may send some more families to their home base schools, and I see those lists locking with earlier numbers than before. |
