Murder at Lululemon in Bethesda

WTOP reported about the Apple Store employee hearing screams for help. I am not sure who else. I just drove by on my way home and all of the New Trucks are gone. They have been there ALL week but now it is just dark with LOTS of flowers outside. Not many people walking around at all. It was really kind of sad and eery! I hope that while it is quiet on the street that the business of solving the crime is in full action and they are getting closer to completing solving the mystery behind this crime. I am having a hard time getting it out of my mind. I spend so much time on that street that it will NEVER be the same after this!

interesting but the man that the survivor is dating...won't name names............happens to be 6 ft tall! If you look him up they give a bio about him with his height and weight!

What is the race of the surviving victim? In the other forum it is rumored that the women are of different races? The other forum also says she is dating a former UMd basketball player.

According to WTOP: "Montgomery County police won't say what kind of evidence they've recovered, but they need to determine what DNA was inside the store before the two suspects came in and closed the door behind them."

So were the perps already in the store? May be they had a bump key? Or did they lock it on the way out? There seems to be inconsistency with the earlier report of the store already open when the first clerk came in 8:12 a.m. the next day.

Other news clips say they entered seconds after the women re-entered. And it had said that they turned the alarm on and locked up and left originally at 9:45pm. So when they came back she had to turn the alarm off.

And so far I haven't seen anything about the other girl. I actually know people that know her but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to ask them that question. And I don't want to know her name until this is all over!

Where did this info come from? I have heard this too but did not know if you got it from a specific source? I heard it from hear-say information.

What are the odds this case will be solved? We're going on a week with no information on possible suspects.
It's so scary to think these animals are still out there.

Actually the odds are pretty hig that they will solve this. They are not letting much information out and they arenot out there pleading for the public to step forward anymore than they would for any other type of crime. To me that says they have strong leads and are building a more solid case, watching potential suspects, or narrowing it down so they don't arrest the wrong guy.

What are the odds that the police don't open everything for the public to see and aren't working on it? Are you assuming that since the police aren't saying what the leads are they have, suspects they are considering, or any other information, it means that it is a cold case? Let the police do their job and stop criticizing every move.

I think this information just comes from another forum where some local men were saying that the football player from UM tried to visit her in the hospital. They don't know if it's her boyfriend or even if he really tried to visit her. Also, I think her race is irrelevant and wish people would stop speculating on that.

Why in the world does this matter?

The guy that she was dating is a basketball player. On this Forum you are not allowed to name names! So if you google it you will find out who he is and then google him and it says he is 6ft and 160 pds. Apparently he went to the hospital but was not allowed in to see the victim but did see her sister.

And clearly race doesn't matter at the end of the day although everyone is curious about everything about this case. It is normal to want to know if she is white, black, hispanic etc.

In the world of speculation having this conversation with a 20 year old, if you tell them she was dating the basketball player that she was dating.....they say oh than she must have been white! Does that mean anthing??!! NO! But we are speculating and anyone that is speculating is curious!

ok, i might be super naive here, but can someone explain why the victim's race could possibly matter? what would it have to do with anything?
are people suggesting that there would be less sympathy if the victim was not white? that seems pretty low for the people on this board, who seem to be (mostly) educated, smart, and aware.
