DP. I watched the tape too and saw a girl totally spun up and scared and a guy that was cool as a cucumber. To me that tells a vastly different narrative than the one you put forth. So people can have watched the video and come to a very different conclusion, especially if they know anything about how abused women behave. |
If he had an agreement - why would he refuse to tell her parents where he last saw her knowing they’re searching? Why not assist the police who are also looking for her? If he didn’t do anything wrong why did he not ever report her missing even after knowing no one could get in touch with her? |
Young girls with bad/absent parental figures are even more likely to find themselves in abusive situations where they are dependent on the abuser and cannot leave. |
As a victim of an abusive man/marriage, thank you so much for saying this. |
| I’d just like to thank the “Brian is the victim” poster for their distinctive formatting and punctuation. Very helpful. |
Brian’s house is now constantly surrounded by angry “protesters.” |
| i'm coming to this thread very late and not terribly knowledgeable, so I'm sure this has been covered but if the van was hers and he was found in possession of it, shouldn't/couldn't he have been arrested for auto theft and held that way? |
I don't think this is the big clue everyone is claiming it to be. You can see how someone who is thinking about national parks might accidentally write Yosemite instead of Yellowstone. I can totally see myself doing that. |
Yep. The lack of urgency tells you everything you need to know. He knows she’s dead. |
Ahaha the neighbors brought out a little golf cart and are now picketing his parents house. I hope sheltering their precious little murderer was worth it.

Someone will come along and tell you that the van was not reported stolen, so it’s not a crime. That in the police video, he was the driver and she was okay with that, so it makes sense that he would have her car. To the rest of us using common sense, it’s a major red flag for him to be in possession of her vehicle back in Florida, with her having gone missing. |
She loaned it to him, for all we know. You will need a new statement from her to even arrest him for auto theft (and she isn’t making statements at the moment). |
Because he was the primary driver of the vehicle, he spent time repairing the engine and building the living area, very likely spent money on materials to convert the van to a living space, and she even calls it “our van” in multiple videos. Just because she’s the only name on the title doesn’t give the police enough probably cause to arrest him for “theft.” There’s an abundance of evidence that the vehicle was considered shared property. |
Glad we have a rational, impartial legal system in place, instead of relying on emotions and misguided “common sense” of people like you. It was once “common sense” to burn women as witches, based on perceived “red flags.” |
I don't disagree with this but I also don't necessarily think it means he murdered her. |
