And represent the true parent communities, I fear. |
This thread and its posters would be a great case study in sociology. |
Why are you on this thread? Anything of substance on local teams this season is welcome, otherwise shut your pie hole. |
Too true but I wonder much more about what the study would say about you, PP. I bet it wouldn't be very complimentary. The rest of us are happy as clams with our little group. You, clearly not so much! I almost never post on this thread but I miss it when it is dormant during the off-season. I'm thrilled when it gets a high level of activity. Here's to lax power, like-minded people and all that! |
I think people underrate how many of the posters are kids themselves... ![]() |
it was 8-6. prep never led by more than 3 and it was a 1-2 point game the whole time |
If St. Albans sucked last year then Episcopal and St. Stephens REALLY sucked because STA beat both and tied with Prep for third place. |
Then ehs and sssa really sucked.
Prep website says 8-5. |
laxpower.com has correct 8-6 score |
Yet, here you are reading these posts and commenting yourself. Well done. |
Awesome player. Isn't Yale number one? Pretty impressive to make that team. |
I won't write his name but this is what it says about him on Yale's website. This is the kind of impressive kid you will find at STA. He's smart and a great athlete. Btw I don't know him but this is an impressive record. "At St. Albans School: Captain of lacrosse team... Played all four years... All-League honors…Team MVP… D.C. Metropolitan Area leader in total saves and saves per game as a senior... Four years on Academic Honor Roll and Headmaster’s List… Citizenship Award… Also played varsity soccer and hockey… All-IAC team soccer goalie as junior and senior… All-State soccer goalie 2016 …Broke STA school record with 11 shutouts... Helped guide soccer team to IAC Championship in 2015 and 2016, and to DCSAA State Championship in 2015." |
Um ok. Agreed.
Think any of these bios will say a kid is a douchebag? Many of the kids on these rosters have great HS credentials. Love how the sta faithful drill over their own but are cutting with anybody else. |
Even if you don't particularly know or like STA (which I don't) those accomplishments are unique and should be respected. Give these student-athletes credit where and when it is due! |
Why don’t you post all the accolades of the bullis kids too then instead of cricizing them? |
