8-6 I was told by a GP parent. Wasn’t there myself.

Oh no. Sounds awful. Can’t remember the last time I saw a fan fight. That’s old school. Don’t think schools tolerate that anymore.

Doesn't seem to be talking about a fan fight? Seems like they are describing an on-field thing, and I'd be shocked if it was anything approaching a "fight" with thrown punches.

Prep only beat STA by 2 points? Thats not a good sign for Prep. The STA team is not good. It should have been a blow-out.

8-5.
a win is a win.
maybe sta isn't as bad as it has been, at least in the goal and on defense.

STA graduated its best goalie ever last year - kid was committed to and now playing at Yale (a top 10 DI program).

well he must not have had much help last yr because they sucked. he may be at yale but isn't getting any playing time yet. your point is irrelevant though.
it's still impressive to hold prep to 8 goals this year.

Not a St Alban’s parent — or in any way affiliated with them or their former goalie — but he is actually starting at Yale as a freshman.

The score was 8-6 Prep and sta gave us a scare late in the game almost pulling within a goal. sta looks like a team with a strong offense and a well-coached defense. Still goalie and the defense seem inexperienced, lose steam with long possessions and get rattled on clears. I think the team will continue to improve but no way will they be able to beat Prep or Landon or SSSA anytime soon.

The Heights beat STA, 12-8 (4 more goals than Prep could muster)

Prep was very lucky to tie Gonzaga in regulation and get to OT...A fluke win, they could easily be 4-6

Playing from behind in most of their games against quality opponents thus far

Prep at this point is simply not very talented or not very well coached...or both

Points well taken.

Are you really that stupid? He is the starting goalie at Yale as a Freshman. You know, the school that is in first place in the Ivy League?

OVERRATED!

True dat. Yale always folds in the NCAA tournament. Cornell may even knock them off in the Ivies.

Love this thread. People who post here about how players and teams suck (1) have kids who will never play high-level lacrosse, (2) sucked at sports themselves so they need to live vicariously through others, and/or (3) suck at that their jobs so they need some other outlet to feel important.
