Political Discussion
Remember when everyone thought Biden would just be a figurehead and Kamala would be running the show? Hasn’t played out that way at all. |
+1 I wonder who IS actually running the show, because it's clear neither of them are. |
I disagree. Biden seems to be in charge. In his own way maybe. But he’s not at all invisible. |
Being "visible" hardly means you're in charge.
|
He has had to backtrack and have "clarification" put out multiple times when it was obvious he was saying what he thought about a situation but clearly not in synch with what the administration was doing. It doesn't even look like he is being kept in the loop, much less running the show. |
Look at the people surrounding Biden. Same as the Obama administration. You really wonder? |
|
Seriously weird. Can you imagine if you saw something like that in your normal life? Like a Facebook friend posting, "for anyone who needs to hear it, I love Timmy just as much as my other children and he's doing really great in soccer and math." Um, what? |
| Incompetence. |
| So what does her political future look like? Is she another Dan Quayle? |
|
Identity politics.
Biden said he was going to pick a woman. Clyburn demanded that the Veep be a person of color. So, tell me which Black woman would have been better. Answer: almost any. But, name recognition is important in political circles. Who should he have picked? Apparently, we have left the days of the best candidate. Too bad that Condaleezza Rice is a Republican. Clearly would have been a great Veep. |
She's still likely to be the Dem nominee after Biden's second term. |
