Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger - arrest warrant affadavit

Leave this poor girl alone. Under no scenario is she responsible or at fault. Stop second guessing. There are zero scenarios where she intentionally refrained from calling 911 or knowing her roommates where murdered or could have saved their lives. There are nut job amateur “sleuths” all over the country questioning her actions, or worse. This girl is 21, lived through something you did not, and the kind of second guessing going on here is heartless. Just stop.

And? What if your daughter's roommate did nothing while your kid got murdered. She was safely locked in her room. Her inaction for seven hours inexcusable.

She lived in a party house with a bunch of roommates, and drunken shenanigans at all hours. She knew enough to feel nervous but obviously never imagined MURDERS were taking place. Ffs some of you people are heartless.

No, I read the evidence. It's heartless to hide in your room like a coward.

Yeah, I wonder what is up with that - that is almost impossible to explain.

No, it’s not. House was a party house. She always locked her doors due to the traffic and parties. And a mask over the nose and mouth doesn’t make people blink anymore.

Tell me you don't have college kids without telling me you don't have college kids.

PP didn't say college kids were into mask wearing, just that we've all been desensitized to seeing them. Which is true.

Again -- you and pp are clearly not hanging around college kids and are willfully obtuse. As pp said what college kid would think it's normal for someone to hook up with roomie, but put a mask on at 4am to protect people who are probably sleeping for the next 8-10 hours?? Besides, it said in the affidavit that the woman who saw him felt terrified -- can't recall exact wording. That means her body knew something was wrong before her mind necessarily did.

She was likely terrified because of the sounds and then realizing who made them - remember she is seeing him after opening her door from hearing the commotions which were loud enough to be heard next door on the camera including the thump.

She was so terrified she went to bed?

I just heard a crime analyst speaking on CNN and he said many are saying this doesn’t fit the profile of a first killing. So investigators are looking into unsolved cases in Pennsylvania and other places he’s been to see if anything matches his profile….. chilling.

We cannot possibly know what she was thinking and feeling.

Because they are all likely drunk, which I know from hanging around college students (and having been one).

Half the people on this thread are examining things through a clear-eyed lens that was highly unlikely among students in a supposed "party house."

Exactly. Very young, 4 AM, had been drinking, unclear and uncertain situation. And as if responses are always perfectly rational to begin with.

Not sure I buy that, was pretty sloppy.

Y’all are so warped. No one is wearing masks, in a residence at 4am in 2022, even in “liberal areas.” I haven’t worn a mask indoors in a private residence since I was vaccinated spring of 2021. Nor have I seen anyone else do it.

But if you are living in a party house and your mind is struggling to make sense of what you just saw, what makes more sense: my roommate had a weird guy over who is wearing a covid mask or a psycho killer just killed my roommates and is trying to hide his identity? qI can only imagine if she called the cops with this story (weird but not threatening noises, guy walking through house wearing surgical mask), even if they did go out on the call, they would have told her to drink a glass of water, go to bed, and never bother them about this cr*p again because they aren't her mommy and daddy.

Yep. The people lining up to question why the roommate didn't call the police may be lucky ones who've never had the "pleasure" of being on the other end of how patronizing and unhelpful police can be. Possibly drunk young college woman in the night, even more so.

+1 the noises that she heard do not indicate murder. Not sure why some people are fixed on the roommate. It seems that Even if she called 911, they wouldn’t survive.

Because it's much easier and more satisfying to twist yourself into a pretzel and blame her, rather than the man who came in and stabbed them all to death.

DP here. ITA. Even though I want to blame as many people as possible, in this particular case.

Can we stop talking about the room mate now?

Again, you are thinking about it from your perspective, someone with logic/sensibility. He was on a mission. This is premeditated, methodically planned out. He was on the exit part of the “operation“. Killing someone else for collateral damage risking leaving behind more evidence, and interrupting his “timeline“ or operation.

I don’t think he saw her.

Yes it’s possible he didn’t see her. She cracked the door open and peeked out into the hallway. Her room was dark and he didn’t see her.
