Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger - arrest warrant affadavit

Anonymous
"DM stated she opened her door for the third time after she heard the crying and saw a figure clad in black clothed and a mask that covered the person's mouth and nose walking towards her. DM described the figure as 5'10" or taller, male, not very muscular, but athletically built with bush eyebrows. The male walked past DM as she stood in a "frozen shock phase." The male walked towards the back sliding glass door. DM locked herself in room after seeing the male. DM did not state that she recognized the male. This leads investigators to believe that the murderer left the scene."

This occurred around 4:25am. She didn't call the cops until 11-something

Sounds like solid DNA evidence.

This blows my mind. She also heard crying? I assume she was the one who called 911.

I'm also struck by the suspect's attorney?/family? saying he expects to be exonerated. I realize that was a few days ago, but coming to the realization that your immediate family probably did this has got to shake you to your foundation.

If she was the one who called 911, she waited 12 hours to do it.

I'm trying to think of it through the roommate witness's eyes. It sounds like she was at the same frat party as the roommate couple. Maybe had some drinks and wasn't 100% confident in what she saw/heard? Thought it could have been boyfriend/ girlfriend arguing? Decided to sleep it off. I mean, never in a million years could you imagine your roommates are being murdered, right???

She saw him leave, wearing a mask. Are you kidding me? She was scared enough to lock herself in her room, but didn't call? WTH

I cant stop obsessing over this fact too. Wtf. No. You have a cell phone. Dial 911. Don’t even say anything if you are scared. Lives could have been saved. I am heartbroken for those families.

Any clue how much alcohol there was? It took 12 hours to “come to”???

SAW him!! SAW him!! Why didn’t she dial 911 right after???!? Maybe some could have been saved!

It is very strange. Obviously knowing what we know, that they were murdered, we would’ve called 911. But I wonder if she didn’t realize what was happening. If she knew a crime was occurring and didn’t call the police for even hours, I would be baffled at that. But if she thought it was normal shenanigans, then I can see why she didn’t think anything of it until later when she put two into together.

From the sound of it I don’t think anybody would have been saved. I’m glad BK was an idiot and left the evidence he did, and was cut so quickly. I am impressed at the throne us of the investigation, and how they were able to catch him.

I don't think so. I guess we'll see if the incel stalking theory has legs. The affidavit says his cell phone pinged by the house a number of times since June, which supports that hypothesis.

NP. It sounds like there were people coming and going from the house all the time. I know if I had been the roommate in that situation, if I heard crying and saw a guy leaving in the middle of the night I probably would have assumed “drunk hook up” and not “psycho knife murderer”.

Yeah, she was young and confused, poor thing. She never said she heard screaming or anything like that. And who thinks much of people wearing masks indoors these days?

GMAB

She cared enough to leave her room three times. She heard the dog barking, roommate crying, heard her say "someone's in here", and then sees a masked man leave.

Yeah think nothing of it. Be scared enough to lock yourself in a room and do nothing. Just a regular hook up.

It says he drove past the house 12 times in the weeks leading up to the murders, so he obviously targeted this house/ these people. The dad of one of the victims said there was a connection between his daughter and Bryan but didn't release any more detail.

This is a crazy detail. She either saw him and thought it was no big deal or she saw him and was scared which means she either should have checked on her roommates or called the police from her own room.

It says he got pinged on his mobile multiple times and his target was on TikTok at 4am. Do you think he was watching her on tiktok just before he attacked?

I am tired of the roommates being blamed.

It's possible she texted her roommates and that detail hasn't been released yet. Also, it's not clear if the suspect walked by her and saw her, or maybe she just had the door cracked open a hair, and he didn't notice. I can't imagine he'd intentionally leave a witness?

And? What if your daughter's roommate did nothing while your kid got murdered. She was safely locked in her room. Her inaction for seven hours inexcusable.
