Remeber, the police are only a phone call away when he kicks in the door. You delayed your attacker by 5 seconds. |
Okay. Then advise your kids that being drunk, high, allowing strangers in their apt, walking downtown late at night alone, and keeping doors open is the way to go. |
FFS, are you also forgetting his cell phone pinging there, his car observed there multiple times that night and leaving at a high rate of speed, in addition to the times his phone was pinged there late at night in the months leaving up to the murders? And that doesn’t even include the motive evidence that I would bet prosecutors have but have not made public. There is not a lot of room for reasonable doubt here. |
he is going to BURN. please stop victim blaming. Those poor girls & boys and their families. |
This seems like a ridiculous choice in defense/alibi: I was out driving around alone in the middle of the night. Prosecutors: You drove by yourself in the middle of the night to the house, murdered multiple people inside, and then drove away alone, still in the middle of the night. |
What is even the point of an “alibi” if no one can vouch for where you were? |
Hmmm - if a criminal enters your home, how long does it take him to stab, strangle, or bludgeon you to death? Now, compare that with the average 911 response time in your area. In case you hadn’t realized, you are on your own. |
+1 We can stop "defending" people like him now. Stalking is never okay, and only escalates, as it did here. Burn, baby, burn. |
But but but I locked my door. |
|
+2 I was nervous when I first heard he claimed to have an alibi, but this is a joke. The vicious psychopath is going down. |
I always knew that he didn’t have a “real” alibi, because if he did, he wouldn’t be sitting in prison. However, I’m glad it seems like an open and shut case, unless the defense can find a way to get him off on some kind of technicality, which I hope they don’t. |
I agree its a weird choice. The burden of proof is still on the prosecution, but still. Come on. |
Even if you are on your own, someone kicking in the door gives you more time to react than waking up to them on top of you. I'd rather have the former. |
