My guess is that she was intoxicated enough to be unsure what was really happening and second guessing what she saw. She knew something was off but not what - a bit of crying, a dog barking, a couple weird comments, a stranger in the house. She ended up falling asleep (due to drinking) and woke up the next morning. Tried texting her roommates and got no reply and got scared to come out now putting 2 and 2 together that those things last night must have meant something. Eventually came out of her room, saw the bodies, went outside and fainted and someone called 911

Her ID testimony will be thrown out from the court.

We don’t know that she ID’d him. That does central to any conviction.

Sorry, meant to type it does NOT sound central…

Friend of a friend's kids go there. They have described it as a party house. I'm good with that.

Agreed there were multiple reports from students there prior to the affidavit that it was a major party house, lots of people coming and going, lots of people knowing the code to the doors. Right away folks were saying that.

They said when the girls finally called 911 the trauma was so bad the operator could not understand what they were saying and one was passed out of the front lawn when police arrived.

They have DNA, her testimony may not be crucial.

And? What if your daughter's roommate did nothing while your kid got murdered. She was safely locked in her room. Her inaction for seven hours inexcusable.

+1 the noises that she heard do not indicate murder. Not sure why some people are fixed on the roommate. It seems that Even if she called 911, they wouldn’t survive.

Has this been proven by the autopsy report? Lots of people survive horrific attacks when you think they wouldnt have.

These kids didn’t even have time to scream.

Not only is it not crucial, its frankly pretty irrelevant at this point. They zeroed in on the car pretty quickly and that had nothing to do with her. The car led them to him, which led them to his cell phone records and the dna in the trash at his parents house.

She lived in a party house with a bunch of roommates, and drunken shenanigans at all hours. She knew enough to feel nervous but obviously never imagined MURDERS were taking place. Ffs some of you people are heartless.

No, I read the evidence. It's heartless to hide in your room like a coward.

Yeah, I wonder what is up with that - that is almost impossible to explain.

No, it’s not. House was a party house. She always locked her doors due to the traffic and parties. And a mask over the nose and mouth doesn’t make people blink anymore.

Tell me you don't have college kids without telling me you don't have college kids.

The noises and sounds were picked up on neighbors video cam. The neighbor is next door.

But if he was searching for random bedrooms or any people, wouldn’t he if he passes hers on the way out have passed it on his way in?

Exactly. Drunk hookup frat boy is not going to slip his mask back on to leave.

You did not go to college?

Everyone knows what a party house is.

Not sure why you are coming after me. It was a honest question that doesn't require your btchy answer.

PP didn't say college kids were into mask wearing, just that we've all been desensitized to seeing them. Which is true.

Y’all are so warped. No one is wearing masks, in a residence at 4am in 2022, even in “liberal areas.” I haven’t worn a mask indoors in a private residence since I was vaccinated spring of 2021. Nor have I seen anyone else do it.

So your theory is you she knew her roommates were being murdered and specifically chose not to call (rather than she didn’t know or was hiding/terrified)? Because that’s absurd.

Nope. Just disputing the assertion that it looked normal for someone to wear a mask indoors in this situation.

Again -- you and pp are clearly not hanging around college kids and are willfully obtuse. As pp said what college kid would think it's normal for someone to hook up with roomie, but put a mask on at 4am to protect people who are probably sleeping for the next 8-10 hours?? Besides, it said in the affidavit that the woman who saw him felt terrified -- can't recall exact wording. That means her body knew something was wrong before her mind necessarily did.

She was likely terrified because of the sounds and then realizing who made them - remember she is seeing him after opening her door from hearing the commotions which were loud enough to be heard next door on the camera including the thump.

So eerie. Reminds me of the people who heard the Lululemon murder and didn't know it or do anything.
