Will Manchin and Sinema crack?

Maybe if the Treasury could mint a one trillion dollar coin, Manchin and Sinema would get on board.

Pretty pathetic of Sanders.

If anyone cracked its Bernie - he sounds stressed as f.

Manchin stands firm and I love it. These child tax credits are decimating our workforce and should not be given to households that are unemployed all the way up through incomes of $400,000.

The West Virginia senator says that if the program is to continue into 2022, it must have a firm work requirement to try and deter recipients from using it as their sole means of income.

Manchin also wants the program only to be made available to families with an income of $60,000 or less, a huge reduction on the current earnings cap. Currently, families earning up to $150,000 are eligible for up to $3,600 for each of their children.

How is that controversial? I don't think any household with an income of 400,000 should be eligible for ANY breaks or subsidies. If you can't live within your means with an HHI of $400k you're straight up financially irresponsible.

To hear Bernie Sanders tell it, these $400K households are having to choose between their BMWs and their extra lacrosse payments. It's. Not. Fair.

To b fair, Manchin probably has a point regarding workers in WV. The limits he is trying to apply work for his state.

I'm fine with either his policy:

- Flat $60,000 HHI limit and must be employed

or

- Keep $150,000 HHI limit but limit the number of qualifying children per household to no more than 4 and must be employed

No more - not working but getting $3,600 annually per child. No more - $365,000 household income and 3 kids and getting $9,000 annually per child. No more - $45,000 HHI and 11 kids and getting $3,600 per child.

Lower the limit. Limit the number of children. Require employment.

They just want to get almost everyone dependent on government handouts. Then they can control them.

So outright bribery by the Coal/Gas lobby corrupted Manchin and outright bribery by the pharmas has corrupted Sinema and as a result, 82 million Americans who supported the Biden Agenda won't enjoy the fruit of their vote and worse, ALL Americans will lose out to the American Oligarch class.

Don’t you consider incomes of 250K-400K pretty close to the “American Oligarch class?” What’s the cutoff for you?

And I agree with him. Social Security literally does not have funds to sustain it and is/will be sending out checks worth $0.80 on the dollar.

Tell us that you don’t understand the problem of inequitable distribution of wealth without telling us you don’t understand the problem of inequitable distribution of wealth.
