58% of Dem staffers say @vp is the most likely 24 nom if Biden doesn’t run. This is down 22 points in the last month.

14% say its @SecretaryPete

Both will *probably* lose. But the Republicans might pick someone really, really bad. It's increasingly obvious that the Democrats learned nothing from Trump's victory. Kamala and Pete are painfully formulaic Democrats from the Obama era. That that era lead to Trump is either totally lost on Democratic power brokers or more likely, they don't really care about much beyond keeping their gravy trains going.

She is going to be an anchor for Biden in ‘24. He’d be wise to find a soft landing spot for her and find a replacement. Perhaps make her NASA administrator given her new interest in outer space.

She seems like a very smart and charming person. But she hasn’t been able to let that come through to voters. Early days.

PP who posted that latest CNN story here. I'm not a fan of KH at all, but the personal attacks on her tinge of sexism/racism (how she looks, laughs, speaks, etc). I'm sure she's a very nice person around her friends/family/etc.

With that said, her policy failures and office dysfunction are fair game. On that front she's not doing a great job right now.
