Crickets over here...hmmm...

Did the activists not get what they demanded? I hope so. Pretty entertaining to watch their desperate attempts--essentially grasping at straws to find anything to shut it down or somehow punish MSI.

Hopefully they lost this battle.

They have not lost the battle. They are winning.

How so? Did they meet all their demands? Please elaborate. Why did the activist delete her prior Facebook post with the list of demands?

Asking Rockville City to provide bathrooms and analyze traffic patterns only helps MSI players and parents. They should have demanded that MSI provide bathrooms as part of the Signed settlement agreement. Too bad, so sad, and too late!

No one asked the City of Rockville to provide bathrooms or deal with traffic. Both those issues are on MSI and MCPS.

MSI hasn't signed yet, so you might want to hold your so sad, too late for when they actually step up and sign.

These activist are complete morons. I get them wanting to make sure that the field does not become SoccerPex South but we are talking about two fields The neighborhood as been dealing with similar traffic since I moved here in 2009. Idiots don't have anything better to do.

Video of the Rockville Hearing last night. JWMS Turf field discussion starts at around 40:00 minute mark.

Final approval will be done at the next Rockville Mayor/Council meeting on 10/21 or sooner if they decide to hold an emergency meeting just to vote on this.

Listen to the Rockville Hearing video I posted above before you argue with me or anyone else. Hint: Folks in the adjacent community even brought it up during the hearing.

I can’t agree with you more. Idiots. Entitled idiots. Ignorant idiots. Lying idiots.

There is nothing for MSI to sign. The memorandum of understanding is between MCPS and the City of Rockville.

+1000%. MOU is between City of Rockville and MCPS. Please keep up by either reading the MCPS website or view the Rockville Hearing video. Stating erroneous information makes you look stupid.

As of Sept 30, MSI has not signed the contract with MCPS for usage of the fields. Maybe they have by now.

As of last night they hadn't signed the contract.

The guy calling everyone an idiot needs to hire a fact checker. But, the Trumpsters never care about facts, do they?

You must be either a troll or an uneducated kid. Do you think MSI would sign over a $5.2M check to MCPS for build turf fields at Whitman, Einstein and JW and MCPS would complete construction without a signed Settlement Agreement between MSI and MCPS? If you do, must be dumb then.

Secondly, there was never a contract. There was a Settlement Agreement and an MOU. Settlement Agreement was signed over 2 years ago. There’s an MOU between MSI and MCPS that was signed 2 weeks ago indicating lights turn on/off time, use of bathroom and number of parking spaces.

The only hold up now is a signed MOU between MCPS and City of Rockville. Once this is signed, Rockville Mayor/Council will vote on its approval either at the next public meeting (10/21) or earlier at an emergency session. Please educate yourself if you’re capable.

Hey idiot, shut up and watch the video. It’s all in the video before you continue to spill BS out of your mouth.

There is a signed settlement agreement between MCPS and MSI from 2016.
There is also a Stadium Field Agreement between MSI and MCPS concerning JW. That agreement had not been signed by either MCPS or MSI as of Sept 30.

Just because you are not aware does not mean the MCPS/MSI MOU it is not signed yet.

Similarly, if you didn’t wake up doesn’t mean the sun didn’t rise.

Hey foot clearly you didn't watch the video to hear the Mayor's statement on when they would vote based on when MSI signed. Guess you dozed off in
mom's basement before the end of the meeting.

There seems to be some confusion and wrong terminologies used in this thread.

1). MCPS/MSI has a signed “Settlement Agreement” prior to the turf field construction at Einstein, Whitman and Julius West.

2). MCPS/MSI has a signed “Field Use Agreement” in place.

3). MCPS/Rockville is working on a Memorandum of Understating (MOU)”. There’s a working draft as off September 25, 2019. Don’t know if this is signed yet. Ounce this this signed, the Rockville City Mayor/Council will vote to approve use of the JWMS Turf Field.

There’s no MOU between MCPS and MSI. There’s no contract between these two entities either unless you consider the Settlement Agreement a contract. I think the wrong use of terminologies is where the arguments/disagreements in this thread started.
