NY Times poll has Trump ahead of Harris.

Trump 48%
Harris 47%

She has got to stop avoiding the press. The post convention bump is gone!

Also interesting younger voters are leaning more conservative than millennials.

Interestingly, it was exactly 8 years ago tomorrow that Hillary Clinton referred to Trump’s supporters as a “Basket of Deplorables” and absolutely tanked her campaign. If Kamala Harris can get through September 9th unscathed, that will be a powerful symbolic victory.

FWIW I’m not sure you can compare polling results across elections like this because pollsters adjust their methodology from cycle to cycle.

These polls are damning for Kamala. If nothing changes Trump will win. Unfortunately, expectations are lower for trump with the debate. So if he does ok and Kamala doesn’t knock the debate out of the park, this will ruin her odds of winning.

If nothing changes, it’s still a tight race. He will not necessarily win. It could go either way. Swing state polls are mostly tied.

The nyt poll was a sample of 1600 people. Who the hell follows polls anymore. They haven't been right since 2008

How does this show is anything if the numbers are not tied to states? At best it is trivia. No one should be freaking out by this poll. I’d like to see state by state polls especially in battleground states.

It’s shows a general trend.

Democrats were super happy to post polls with Harris ahead of Trump nationally 51% to 46%. Every day we saw pols like that. Now that Trump may be indeed leading, these polls don’t matter anymore??? Ha ha.

The state polls are what count for EC. But the national polls show general support and trends.

I won’t pay attention to polls no matter who’s leading.

And Comey. Where HRC was in early Sept tells us zero about Harris’s trajectory.

"There have been 12 non-partisan polls published with interviews done since Aug 28th other than the new NYT poll. In these 12 polls Harris has a 3 pt lead on average, and none show the shift towards Trump the NYT finds.

The NYT tells us we should ignore all those polls."

We are waiting to hear her make very strong statements about consequences for criminals and about imnigration. Will be listening closely during the debate.

I am sure you will get your wish. Not holding my breath that trump can muster a strong statement about anything at all. It is all just lies and bluster and barely coherent nonsense.
