Ok, so if its not Dreads and if her last text of being lost at 14th and Wertland is true, that's awefully close to the train tracks. The train tracks were often used as an escape route by thieves who would break into cars and steal bikes in C-ville. In other words, they were not a safe place to be. C-ville is also a known hobo hang-out.

“There is a location at the railroad bridge and Preston Avenue where people do tend to congregate,” Longo said. “Perhaps she was uncomfortable as she walked by.” |
... or strangle and kill her and leave her body in a dumpster somewhere. What do you expect him to say? |
If it wasn't him and he was drinking with her earlier in the night why didn't he come forward immediately? |
Dreads story does not really make sense. At 1:30 Am he met up with a drunk girl and bought her some more drinks (why?) then they both strolled off in different directions. And he made it back to his house, but she disappeared. |
Good point. |
Maybe he has other issues like a criminal background that would make him an immediate suspect. |
The police are likely showing/telling only a piece of the full story. We don't know who came forward early, or only after tapes we're add public. The public timeline will be screwed so as not to mess up the police timeline. |
Should say, tapes "were made public" |
From reading that it sounds like there could be a serial rapist/killer there that has gone undetected for a long time. |
Thee was a serial rapist in the 90s who was eventually caught, it was scary living there at the time. |
Why would an 18 year old girl hang out meet up with an older man? Drug deal? Morgan Harrington went outside of a concert venue to get "something". She was told her friends she find a ride home. Huh? I do not blame the women but it seems weird to be alone at night at 1:00AM. |
Lots of people are afraid to come forward to the police - not because they're guilty of something, but because they fear they will receive unfair speculation, or be penalized in some way. Think of how many stories there are of corrupt cops - many people simply don't trust police, and it's not because they're guilty of anything. People fear their past will affect their future if they go to police (past, unrelated criminal history, illegal immigration, etc) |
18:35, but then you DID blame the victim. |
