Horrible, horrible story. I pray for her safe return. My heart goes out to her family.
Why didn't her friends stay with her when they saw she was drunk? Terrible, completely preventable tragedy. |
Is this a reliable source? |
Simply getting drunk is a stupid idea, whether you're lost outside at night or not. That's what I plan on teaching my boys when they're old enough. Plenty of people get raped and robbed when they're drunk. I hope they never drink to excess. Not all young people do. |
So what if LJ Matthew is telling the truth, and that they left the bar together but then went on their separate ways? That would explain the "I'm lost" text at 1:20am (they went into the bar shortly after 1 and only stated for about 15 minutes). Perhaps the original "I was following her because I was concerned about her safety" creep was still lingering around and took advantage of the situation when Matthew drove off? |
I am doubting whether it is LJ too. I mean - if you are going to abduct someone you aren't going to take them into a bar where you'll be seen with them.
I'm wondering if it is the same perp who abducted Morgan Harrington. He's clearly still wandering around out there. |
I think it's the older guy, too. Not buying his story at all. |
Maybe he was trying to get her more drunk or slip something into her drink. And after seeing how the drinks affected her, decided to abduct her. |
If LJ's story is true, then I wonder if it's possible that the other two sexual assaults that happened last weekend actually could be related somehow.
I don't believe she was slipped anything in her drink - just that she was very intoxicated. Which makes me hope that if she did meet a violent end, she didn't have much comprehension of what was happening. |
Oh that would be wishful thinking, PP, I'm not as optimistic. She probably sobered up real fast, and then it was too late. Horrible. I'm praying she's still alive, somewhere. |
Is anyone else feeling like a terrible voyeur with this story/thread? |
Was the woman last year ever found? |
Which person are you referring to? |
Yes. |
Perhaps the police "exonerated" him in order to get him to let his guard down and lead them to her. |
