Trump threatened a 25% tariff, ColOmbian Prez threatened same, Trump raised it to 50%, and ColOmbian Prez also raised his to 50%... I hope every country in the world that Trump threatens joins in. Trump is absurd with all his d**k swinging. I can't believe this passes for "manliness" and "toughness" in MAGA circles.

These guys have his number.

Yes, they do! They just have to deal with him the way they would with a grade school bully threatening other kids during recess.

They saw how Xi used him.

Just wait until Don Jr hears about these tariffs. His coke bill is going to skyrocket!

I feel bad for US citizens who have been victims of crimines committed by those in the US illegally.

Yes. 1000%. I also feel bad for US communities that have seen a reduction in essential services due to taxpayers' money funding the lives of illegal aliens.

You don’t care about small businesses being affected by tariffs?

Cut flowers are a waste of money and you don't have to buy coffee from Colombia. Find an ethically sourced product from a country that doesn't turn a blind eye to drug cartels.

This is an interesting development. Colombia said they wouldn’t take back their own citizens so Trump is enacting tariffs and other measures.

Personally, I think this is a great move. It is the responsibility of the host nation to repatriate their citizens. I do not understand why Colombia won’t welcome their own people back.

They don’t have any issues taking their migrants back. They are demanding they are returned on civilian flights like humans.

To me, that’s a fair ask.

Why don't they (Colombia) pay for these flights then? THAT would be fair

The civilian deportations under Biden cost $9,000 per flight. The Trump military flights are costing $900,000.

Colombia accepted 475 repatriation flights from the US. 120 last year. No tariff war was necessary

Stop making numbers up its just a
Sad.

The PP was correct. YOU’RE sad, you clown. Get out of your MAGA bubble and learn to use Google.

“Colombia accepted 475 deportation flights from the U.S. from 2020 to 2024, fifth behind Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and El Salvador, according to Witness at the Border, an advocacy group that tracks flight data. It accepted 124 deportation flights in 2024.”

Ok. So boycott Columbian products if you want too do that. This tariff insanity is ridiculous.

If you MAGAs really don't think that people in our country don't care about the price of coffee? You're living in quite a bubble.

It’s sad how many people are ok with criminals coming here as long as they get cheap coffee and fruit. It’s really telling.

Countries that send us drugs also receive illegal imports of guns, the vast majority from the US. These guns are used by cartels and gangs. In fact, we have flooded the world with our guns. We’re no angels either, as Trump likes to say.

STFU already with that tired line that is all over social media. JFC, are you all reading the same set of talking points? At least get some original material. The only thing you forgot to mention is Laken Riley.

For the last time—no, Dems are not in favor of criminals coming here and we are happy to see them leave.

It really is. Americans should hold themselves to higher standards.

People not using those businesses leads to job loss. Big corporations like Starbucks will start laying people off and florists and smaller coffee shops will shutdown.
