They were supposedly in DC to support the idea of the sanctity of life and it seems to me if they cannot take that idea seriously and act appropriately (not screaming and whooping it up like frat boys, some doing Tomahawk chop motions in one of videos I saw), they are not very good ambassadors for their cause and probably should have been left at home. I didn't see any of them show they have much concern for the sanctity of all life in the way they dealt with an elderly American Indian singing a traditional song. And I would doubt the people behind the "March for Life" would want them to be the face of their movement.

Boys will be boys until someone who knows better chastises them and shows them how to act like decent human beings. At the very least this shows a failure of their supervisors to control them when they started getting too wild in their jubilation (funny how I didn't hear any of them singing religious songs or chanting "all life is sacred" or anything like that - isn't that why they were there, to show how much Catholics love and respect all life?)

I'm Catholic btw, graduate of Catholic school, my brothers, fathers, and uncles are graduates of an all-boy Jesuit high school.

It is an hour and forty-six minutes long, but the link jumps to near the beginning of the action. There is a group of African Israelites demonstrating and this video is from their point of view. The MAGA teens are above them on the steps. Both sides are heckling each other and the teens, for the most part, are just being teens and not doing anything particularly noteworthy. Then one kid comes down the stairs and takes off his coat and shirt and leads some sort of chant. The two groups start to get closer together and what had been sort of good natured trash talking started getting more aggressive. Then Nathan Phillips comes in and walks up to the teens. The camera loses sight of him then, but it does seem that he has a calming effect on everything. The African Israelites seem to think so at least because one of them can be heard loudly and repeatedly on the camera saying that Phillips calmed things down. Eventually some adults come down and start moving the teens back away from the African Israelites.
