This is not the future of this nation.

Not surprised. MAGA folks have little respect or kindness for others. It’s appalling but they’re on the losing side. Take comfort in the fact that they a minority of people.

Want to add. The Catholic Church has a long history of terrible treatment towards Native Americans.

When the President mocks Native Americans with his Pocahontas talk, it rubs off on his followers.

That's the sort of uncharitable behavior that should get a kid kicked out of a religious school, not acknowledging that they have a same sex attraction.

Unlike the US gov, who has treated Native Americans fairly and with dignity.

Especially letting docs with no license or lost their license treat those on reservations. It’s free!

Around DC, MAGA hats have almost disappeared, except for one crowd: white teens here on school trips.
There's a reason why autocratic governments have always tried to indoctrinate kids:
Germany: Hitler Youth
China: Communist Youth League / Young Pioneers
Russia/USSR: Youth Pioneers
Italy/Mussolini: ONB

And I'd go so far as to say:
USA: Prager "U", catholic schools, etc.

There are a lot of rightwing-indoctrinated kids in the US that we are going to have to deal with.

No, he’s mocking white people who CLAIM to be native Americans.

Try and keep up.

What? The school likes this. That's why the school buses the kids into DC for this fake* march.

* This is a march for fetuses only: the GOP is working hard, with MOL voters help, to cut heathcare for babies and moms. Republicans don't care about life, they care about votes for tax cuts. And most of the marches are useful idiots, but some know the truth.

That’s why he mocks the suffering of native people in historical battles and atrocities? Read a book, shithead.

No "bothering", "harrassing", or "bigotry" displayed (at least in the video).

Someone standing in front of someone else.

More pointless outrage at nothing.

Faculty directory from Covington Catholic, school website, and Diocese of Covington. Absolutely call/email the school, its faculty members, and the diocese and tell them how you feel. Don't let them sweep this under the rug.

Ho boy, he's going to have to mock a LOT of his supporters then, because you wouldn't believe how many Americans in the parielands tell about family lore that they have native American ancestry. Many kids I grew up with had such stories.

That's an awful lot of mocking to be done.

What was his point standing there so close to the singer with that smirk on his face? Are you trying to convince us he was listening respectfully and showing his appreciation of an indigenous song?
