yep

You can always spot the consumers of MSNBC "news" here.

Yep. That, and being born white, being male, and being Catholic.

For all the things people are discriminated against being white, male and Catholic is pretty low on the totem pole.

Are you living in DC? You know I’m DC kids are worse, right?

I'm leaving because in the first week one teacher had his arm dislocated by a student while another suffered a broken hand. They threatened to rape a female teacher after work. One of my students was arrested in my classroom for fighting another student for "looking at him." That same day, another student was beaten unconscious in the classroom next door. The students intentionally threw laptops from the laptop cart to the ground, shattering them, because they "didn't feel like reading." All of these students are still enrolled. At most they received a two or three day suspension and returned with new shoes, new hairdos, and a new lore among their peers.
They sit in the classes on their phones, they gamble, they throw chairs and flip over tables in what our administration writes off as "attention seeking behavior" and all throughout this someone comes in to informally observe us and tell us how shitty of a job we're doing. They don't suspend or expel, because the goal is to reduce suspension numbers this year. I call parents everyday and, while a FEW apologize and say that they'll try to speak with their kids, the majority say something along the lines of "that's your problem," "I've washed my hands of my child," or "don't call me again."

I substituted once and the several kids were smoking crack in the back as soon as the PowerPoint started. Others have ear buds in. Some sleep. It’s awful

Curious, does it seem that the DC school kids are held to a LOWER standard of conduct?

Seems like the visiting Catholic school kids are held to a HIGHER standard of conduct?

Oh, yes, let's address the REAL problem here...

Do you really think the Catholic Church puts themselves on par with poorly behaved and poor DC public school kids and an Indian activist which while I think was provocative wasn't out of line in behavior. The whole point of this school is to turn boys into reputable men through the help of their parents money. They are failing and those kids are not good role models nor do they seem to understand why they were in DC. DC schools have a much greater challenge and do not have the benefit of working with privileged parents. How do you think the school is making themselves out to be doing good when all they can say is that they aren't as bad as some other people that society already holds in lower regard?

Well... if you think Sandmann's behavior was "bad," you must have been simply appalled by the behavior or Nathan Phillips, his fellow Native American friend who yelled at the teens and the Black Hebrew Israelites.

+ 1 The main thing I learned is the existence of a another black hate group.

The main thing I learned is to never take responsibility for your own behavior and to always blame others. Always. If you have the money also hire a PR firm to do it for you. Never admit mistakes. Ever.

So are you against all hate groups or certain hate groups? I mean, hate don't make nothing great, right?

Well of course I'm against all hate groups. I didn't know anything about Black Hebrew Israelites, so that's my biggest takeaway from the whole encounter. Much more significant than a white kid smirking, that's for sure.

What was the "mistake?" Standing still while an activist/protester beat a drum in your face?
Being attacked all over social media for doing nothing terrible?
Death threats because you wore a hat?
Having fellow classmate--who was not even in DC "doxed" on twitter by a middle school teacher in Colorado?

Remember, Phillips went on CNN and lied--said the kids were saying "build the wall." Turns out he also lied about service in the Marine Corps and Vietnam. But, the kid is not entitled to defend himself?

So, if you are Native American, you are allowed to attack young kids, go on television and lie, and try to disrupt mass. If you are a "Black Hebrew" you are allowed to throw out racial slurs at kids?

Isn't this the definition of racism? When you are treated "differently" because of your race?

I agree with you SO much, but there's no sense arguing with these leftists. They can't see past their own bigotry, which dictates that whenever there's an encounter between white people and minority people, they will always focus their condemnation on the whites, even if the minority is an adult and the whites are kids, and even if the minority behaved significantly worse (and the white kid was surprisingly composed).

The fact that the thread title, making the white kid look at fault, is allowed to stand attests to that.

I thought a PR firm and a lawyer represent him pro-bono. Do you have any link to the information if they get paid and if yes, who pays their bill?
