lol. Virginians are weird. No thanks, I will not send mine down there. |
I agree. Virginia and. Texas are the two states with very weird people. Too clubby and old school southern. Thanks but no thanks. |
Richmond is weird for Virginia. |
Only 20% of UR students are from VA. |
They will be surrounded by and exposed to at least some weirdos there. Just say no. |
When we visited in the spring the campus was dead even though class was in session and the students were there. |
I hope you’ve just said no to UVA, VA Tech, and W&M. You not liking Virginia has nothing to do with the University of Richmond. And there are much higher percentages of Virginians in those three elite VA publics than at UR. |
+1 Very true. |
Didn’t know this was a LAC. Thought it was a commuter college. |
Well, it’s a state where nearly 50% voted for trump |
It’s a country where nearly 50% voted for Trump. |
Never known anyone who went there. Where do these people go when the graduate? Where do they come from? A mystery. |
This question has already been asked and discussed in this thread but I’ll bite anyway. It’s easy to find out where they come from because schools publish that info. And because less than 20% are from Virginia, they are more likely to disperse elsewhere than stay in-state. So yeah, there aren’t that many Spiders in Nova. It’s not anything mysterious if you use logic and Google to approach the question, however. |
You either didn't actually think this or you're stupid. |
DP but I’m guessing stupid because I’m also guessing they were trying to insult the school by calling it a community college and accidentally said commuter college, which isn’t a real designation and wouldn’t preclude it from also being a LAC. |
